When you said "bad conditions, such as temperature changes" i realised that my little farm in iceberg base where temperature goes below 30 celcius might not have good time

Does composted material disappear if it's left in the composter too long? I put some plant fibers in my composter and came back an hour later and the composter was empty.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't stolen because I'm on a PvE server and stealing anything from players bases is against the rules.
I doubt it disappears. I dont think anything despawns when left inside a container overall.
Plant fibers generate 0.05 fertilizer each. Until you have composted enough it will not yield anything

Really interested in crossbreeding and genetics. Please help.
I cannot for the life of me find out how the cross breading works and I keep ruining good plant gens by trying to mix in a few different gens. It seems that if there are enough of one gene it will dominate over another but if there are a large amount of the same red gene it will dominate over green regardless of number.
@@austinsmith2646 Genes work pretty much how you describe. Don't put plants in planters, but instead, tske clones of good gene plants out in the world and put at least 3 of those good clones in a planter before putting average or bad gene plants in a planter. Genes will only swap with genes in the same slot, as far as I know. For example, a bad gene in the second slot shouldn't swap or effect genes in the first slot

You can trade compost or cloth for scrap now so farming is kinda meta rn.

This is why people like me that have 5K hours plus we'll keep playing this game for a long time. It's multifaceted I'm almost impossible to master every aspect of this game. Top of that they're always adding new stuff to it . I'm very good in multiple rounds of this game but far from mastering. I think I'm getting good at something like building and then I watch evil worst build the most intense of things I've ever seen. As good as you can be at something there's always someone better in this game and as much as you plan practice it's almost impossible to be good at everything. The only one thing I really mastered more than anything else is movement through the game. I can get scrap I can fight I can build I can just survive. Playing solo in high pop Services brutal though it's not for the weak of heart.

It legit is the most bugged and confusing thing ever. We made it work using multiple techniques but when we replicate it it wouldnt be consistent (works every 4/10 times) the only technique that was consistent was if we shut off electricity first. But thanks for the feedback

@@thegentlemanbadboy578 is it unethical to exploit the game mechanics, or is it unethical to use exploits which have been discovered by others? The water exploit was made well known within the first day of the update after many people accidentally discovered it
@@WayZr I believe the bug has to do with the way it calculates the gravity feed for the water pump. The way I've gotten it to work relied on having the first pump below the level of the water source and second above it. Also you need to turn them on in sequential order.

My infinite water stopped worked but the sprinklers remained on with no effect from falling water

This video was in making since the day of the update and no we didn't steal anything from anyone we spent hours messing around with the water systems. Anybody who did will notice that this exploit exists.
You're just embarrassing yourself. Lots of people have discovered this. Twisited also popularises ideas that he did not discover himself. Go and harrass twisited for 'stealing' ideas
