EDIT: Hours later, I just remembered that Undertale's track "But Nobody Came" was making a horror out of a joke dialogue from Earthbound. It's come full circle - Stanley Parable has made it back into a joke.

This was a stellar moment for the narrator. A good example of how they DID add very compelling "new" content on top of the game. The extra content reimagining is literally and somehow better than if they had just done an actual standalone sequel.

the first left turn after you recollected your figurine at the red and blue door during the figurine ending, pretty sure it also exists during other hallways with red curtain in this ending

@@funnylittlecreature I love it because when I first played the game, the Narrator just sounded _dangerous_ to me even when he was being totally nice - like a tiger debating _when_ exactly to eat you but is in no big hurry because he knows he's stronger than you.
Now, years later, after Ultra Deluxe, I'm so in love with this egocentric sass master that the Countdown Ending feels off somehow - and this comment is exactly it. "We already know you're a huge dork." Like yeah that sums it up lol. The edge is gone now, sir, I listened to you trying to become the king of comedy through old-timey training tapes and bad puns.

That right there is one of my favorite lines ever.

This Soundtrack truly succeeded to be every Soundtrack ever created. It was Skyrim's OST, it was Persona 3's OST, it's all of them!

It's so bizarre how good the OST is. I never noticed such bangers like Control or The Memory Zone or Showing Him The Bucket when playing the game itself. This album fits so many different genres in it, and surprisingly, I haven't been disappointed by a single track. Massive props to everyone who contributed, you all did absurdly well!
8/8 One of the best video game OSTs ever made.
The only 2 soundtracks I can compare this OST to is There Is No Game Wrong Dimension's soundtrack and Henry Stickmin soundtrack

The best part about The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe was when I searched for the soundtrack on UA-cam and saw the life changing "secret one rotation only" sticker on the bucket. The sticker said to comment if you saw it, but there aren't any comments talking about the sticker, so I guess that means I'm the only one that gets to enjoy the secret sticker.

If there is a vinyl release, one side needs to be Following Stanley for the entire side
Vinyl records rotate at 30rpm, which is one rotation every 2 seconds, which means you can intentionally craft a record that ends play with a 2 second loop. (It's been done before. Look up "locked groove".) I could definitely imagine a record of the Stanley Parable doing something stupid with this.

Unironically some of the ambient tracks in this game are actually stunning. They are so well mixed and it feels like just a safe place I can go to. (Especially the last track)

46:19 for me was the best one. I liked that ending just becuase of this music, it gives off a creepy / eerie vibe, like it would fit perfectly for some investigation scene (slowly finding more and more evidence) or in a movie that shows how a person is slowly losing their mind
And 50:01 is also great one, maybe even better than 46:19, the moment at 50:37 is like making a really scary discovery or collecting all pieces of a crime and revealing the horrible truth

@@Person_Personson I will simplify. Track #08 is Music. The Stanley Parable 08 does not have music, only extremely captivating button-pushing. This delightful piece of soundtrack music, therefore, must have been unused.
Stanley's Sacrifice is so sad to me because I thought that the metal sound at 1:01:02 was just in the game, and hearing it in the soundtrack hit deeper than I thought it would.
10/10 would recommend.

I've tried to write this twice but it became too wordy, so here it is, distilled. This is fucking outstanding. Not only does the music stand tall by itself, its emotional connection to the game and your own personal journey as Stanley raises it to near unreachable heights (And that's really impressive for a soundtrack with duck sound effects in it).
I will remember The Stanley Parable for years to come.
I know a few tracks from the original game had official names (mostly the Blake Robinson Orchestra ones, like Following Stanley, Exploring Stanley, etc.) but something that makes me so unreasonably happy is having official names for the rest of the songs. That seems like a small thing, but it's like a painting - the title just ties the theme up in a nice bow. Just reading "The End Was Never the End" shot a stab of nostalgia and pain and joy and emotions that don't even exist through my heart, just like the actual ending did. And of course "And Stanley Was Happy" is precious.
That being said, my head is spinning trying to figure out some of the names. Some are obvious jokes, not talking about those - I'm talking about things like "Showing Him the Door" being the name of the Insanity Ending track. Why? Is the Narrator showing Stanley the door? Is Stanley showing the Narrator the door? What door? The left one? The Red one? Is Narrator showing Stanley "out" of this life and into the next via panic-attack-induced death? Am I overthinking this and it's just some random title the creator gave it for funsies? I may never know.
"Stanley's New Apartment" too. Is this just the devs acknowledging "yah we changed the apartment lol"? Did Stanley move? Did Stanley move ONLY in the bucket version? Did his wife throw him out because of his bucket obsession? Did he afford a nicer apartment because of the money he and Narrator made from Ultra Deluxe? Is it the bucket's apartment? *I need answers, Davey.*

I know the whole joke about the ultra deluxe version was that they'd run the game into the ground but i kinda hope they do.
Both the first and the second game have been spectacular, the only way they could mess up a third game is if the moon dived straight into their studio, halting the production for seventy thousand years, eventually getting discovered by a much more developed civilisation, who's half-robot minds cannot comprehend the startling but comedic narration, they continue the game anyways, in hopes of releasing a piece of history, but ultimately ruin the franchise.
But obviously, that won't happen unless a higher being of sorts decides humans have lived long enough.
This is the story of a man named Stanley.
Stanley worked for a company in a big building, where he was employee number 427.
Employee number 427's job was simple; He sat at his desk in room 427, and he pushed buttons on the keyboard. Orders came to him a monitor on his desk, telling him what buttons to push, how long to push them, and in what order.
This is what employee 427 did every day, every month, of every year, and although others might of considered it soul ending, Stanley relished every moment that the orders came in, as though he had made exactly for this job.
And Stanley was happy.
And then one day, something very peculiar happened, something that would forever changed stanley, something he would never quite forget.
He had been at his desk for nearly an hour, when he realized that not one, single order had arrived on the monitor for him to follow.
No one had shown up to give him instructions, call a meeting, or even say hi.
Never in all his years at the company did this happen, this complete Isolation
Something was very clearly wrong.
Shocked, frozen solid, Stanley found himself unable to move for the longest time.
But as he came to his wits and regain his senses, he got up from his desk and stepped out of his office

How is it only now when I notice that Home Sweet Home has the “Good Job, You Made It To The Bottom Of The Mind Control Facility. Well Done” motif in it? But now that I know it, my day is 5 times better. The simple amusements this game has brought into my life (not even including the harder hitting stuff that just sticks with you) is frankly amazing.
A great sequel to "music" 10/10 would listen again

Truly a beautiful piece of art. I applaud the amazing creativity and intricate sounds in this wonderfully crafted song. Good songs aren't just songs, they include stories which are buried deep within the music. This track is a superb example of story-telling within music. The moment when you hear the number 8 is truly a remarkable moment in time, even more so than the other amazing pieces in this soundtrack. 9/10 out of 9/10.

Epilogue is genuinely such a beautiful ambient track
06:09 Control - is my absolute favorite and not only gave me goosebumps when I heard it for the first time but still today. The tension and frustration of beeing unable to do anything is a mighty feeling while this track plays.
The beginning told me I f*d up, the mid part gave me time to think about my bad decision and the high synths in the backgroud that get louder and louder which create an epic buildup with every repeat up to the end part. It pumped me up in a very intense way. But at the very end (fast clock rythm part) I was violently forced to accept I didn't do enough, every button I pressed was wrong or I really had no chance from the beginn with. And in the middle of my last thought the bombs exploded and everything went dark.
Im expecting the ost for the adventure line™ to be here
