I'm so the type 5 in this one... if I'm not hanging out with the dog or cat (or whatever other pets there are), I'm with a book. Or I'm in the kitchen making sure everything is properly prepared and food allergy labels are added on potluck things. Kitchen generally has less people and if someone wants to try to small talk, I have a knife! That is... if I even go to the party in the first place!

i'm a 3 but same. parties are exhausting.
I’m a 4w5 and I related most to the type 5. I’m always the one going off by myself and making friends with the host’s fur babies. If there’s no fur babies, I awkwardly sit in a corner and think up believable excuses to leave early.

This is great lol! As a Social 9 I will say this is one context where I'm probably not very 9-like since I'm more of a hype woman😂🍾 And that gets me thinking, I would love to see a sketch with all the Enneagram countertypes!! I think that would be so interesting to see each type in a different light, out of the typical portrayal, but still showing how their core desires shine through in different ways.
Also -- I can relate to Type 5 here too, I always go for the pets in any kickback because first off I just love em so much but secondly because I think my 9 self sees them as a neutral place to be where I don't have to anticipate anyone's needs, they're a form of safety lol!!!
I'm such a 7 😆when I'm having fun but need to pee it's the WORST because I don't want to stop the conversation to go, and then I'll MISS SOMETHING THAT BECOMES AN INSIDE JOKE W EVERYONE ELSE EXCEPT ME (and yes I'm speaking from experience...)

In school age years, I was the person being the dj, 4ishly crafting the atmosphere with a playlist. At a recent weekend party was 5ishly taking photos of various insects and running them through Google Lens to determine their specific classification whilst everyone else was chatting each other up. 4w5 or 5w4 ...
6w5... First stop: snack table. Then I play with the pets. 🎯

She prides herself on following people who have under thousands of followers on Spotify. I just go with what lyrics and music hits me
I'm a 5w4, when I am in big parties with lots of people I usually stay in the corner and leave after 5 minutes.
But in parties much smaller and that everyone knows everyone, I behave like the type 7. I want to hang out with my friends as much as possible.
Next do enneagram types in a reality show.
😂😂 my BIL will often offer to bring one of my dog nephews to family gatherings so I will show up so once again, spot on! If there isn’t something cute and furry, I will find a reason I can’t make it! Feathered things are growing on me as well!

I’m a 9 but I still love parties!! I grew up with then in highschool so maybe I’m just use to it?… but I get scared if a drunken fight happens and I hide like literally
I'm 5 but the 9 in this one sounds like me - but I'd be hiding in the tub with the curtain shut and any pets in the house with me! and reading a book!

I thought 5 and 9 were flipped when I saw the intro, but once I saw the rest of 9 it made more sense. I still vibe with both examples though.
Me: I can go between a Type 4 or a Type 8 or a Type 9 depending on my mood.
It's so weird how fan conventions can feel like Wonderland while at the same time, I hate socializing at family reunions.
