I doubt that will make that much, i havent used salad in a long time, but its more like making pennies per day, if not less. I had a 10600k and the same gpu.
Only time will tell, but it's equipment I had sitting here and can't seem to sell, so might as well put it to work. It has made about $0.40 over the almost 8 hours it has had a container.
Interesting. I almost gave up on that board. I have a 2 core celeron and couldn’t get it to boot into salad. Might have to look into a processor swap. How did you get the board to accept 32gb of ram? I thought it maxed out at 16gb.
The Ram depends on the gen CPU, and the i7 6700 can take up to 2166mhz non-ecc UNbuffered DDR4 while the 7th gen can go a little faster. I just kind of took a chance with the 32gb (knowing AtoZ has a return policy as a safety) bc that was the only component I didn't have on hand so for about $60 I had a potential entire solid setup! In your case I may source the cheapest 6/7 gen i7 you can find with the ram, if it's within your budget limitations, and let it rip!

$1.75 a day x 30 = about 20 double cheeseburgers from Mcdonalds

So.. it costs me about 30 bucks a month in energy.. you’re going to to look me dead in the eye and say this is cost effective.. 😭😭😭
@@andrewwright5629 your results may vary, I’m just saying it works!
projected to make 1.75 a day, times 30 is 52.5, -30 for energy and you still profit 22$ (if its running constantly)
If you have a computer with 8 to 32 g ram then download salad to get free money?
what would a threadripper achieve on there?
let me know what you find out!
