- Brazilian BBQ and street food is something that we've always wanted to try. Luckily we heard of a great food stall in West Auckland called Kika's Kitchen that specializes in traditional Brazilian BBQ, street food, and desserts! We got almost everything on their menu from picanha, conxinha and pudim, and oh my goodness! All we can say is that we need more Brazilian food in Auckland. This is a must-try!

It just makes me happy as a brazilian hearing some portuguese words in the background and you eating rice and beans together. Seeing coxinha, picanha and other types of brazilian food makes me happy.
Can definitely relate to that when we see people try Filipino food! Honestly been missing out on Brazilian food and we need to try and look for more ASAP!! 😊
Normally, in Brazil we don't put sauces in the Picanha (you can have the garlic Picanha version), but we cook Picanha just with salt and eat with vinagrete.

Dang AG, you made me ruin my diet with this video. I was drooling the whole time while watching so I ran over to the closest barbecue joint here and ordered some pork barbecue with rice..lol

Things that came to my mind here in Brazil. I've seen planty of time foreigners saying we have one of the best comfort foods. This food of this place is very simmilar to restaurants in my neighborhood....

2:18 They are talking about how he is supposed to pour the beans on top of the food and mix it together (It's kind of odd for someone to just eat the beans by the spoonful), they then proceed to discuss whether the beans should go on top of the rice or vice-versa which is kind of a divisive thing brazilians will jokingly argue about. I can tell by their accent they're from Rio Grande do Sul which basically means this BBQ is as legit as it gets.

We also eat the snacks with hot sauce.
We usually don't mix the beans with the rice on the plate, but simply eat them together in the same bite.

One of the most amazing things about our God is that he is gracious and compassionate. And this we see even when we screw it up. In fact, when we sin, He longs to cleanse and forgive us, not to condemn and punish. His grace is in a hurry to receive our true repentance with forgiveness, cleansing and redemption.
PRAYER: Dear Father, when I sin, please help me to see my sin as You see it. Help my heart to suffer from my sin when I rebel against You. I never want to become numb or cold towards his grace. I always want to appreciate the price the Lord paid to redeem me, forgive, and cleanse me with His grace. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
