OMG, me and our community in Indonesia always struggling how to make a good gate and also modular.. now we know...that's hinges is very genius idea... can't wait for next gate tutorial particularly for triple ladder and dive gate...

near the rebar section in Home Depot should be this fiberglass rebar called "pink bar" it's sold in 10 ft lengths for about $5. You can cut 5 two foot rebar stakes for the price of one metal rebar. it's basically just as strong yet weighs next to nothing and doesn't rust all over your hands. @leviathannfpv1282 showed me this at one of his races and it's a game changer not having to lug 20 heavy steel rebar for 10 gates.
@@headsupfpvif using the fibreglass rebar, get some rebar protective end caps or something so you can hammer them in the ground without destroying the ends. I have also used wood blocks. The bars last WAY longer that way. Works really well for me. I use 2.5’ fibreglass for the ultra light portable setups, otherwise I just use 3’ powder coated steel (I hate rust! I also spray paint chips and ends with zinc paint, or whatever spray can I have handy) Great vlog, some really, really good tips! ❤
I followed the Quad docs advise on using the 1 1/4 " for the bottom of the double 1" for the top theres a drop in peice for the 1 1/4 that fits the 1" top I glued those adapters in It was rather windy out here today it all held together so far so good I made the stake lenght 30" for the double 2" for the singles My area is tight so Its a 3" coarse 533 was sold out of 5×5's when I looked for gates Thank you again for this video!!!

Thanks! I'm about to embark myself into building my own track! Looking forward for part 2!

I personally believe that 1 inch pvc is the best for a practice track. it’s a good mix of durability and not being too hard on the quads.
This is such a wholesome drone racing video

Really needed this tbh. got my first irl race coming up and only been pracing with the enviroment I have. Thank you!
