- Ultraman battles the King of the Monsters himself, Godzilla!
As an initial attempt to garner interest in the Ultraman IP, Tsuburaya collaborated with Toho to create the short film Ultraman Vs. Godzilla. It was never released to the public and shots from the short would go on to be reused in Godzilla Vs. The Sea Monster and the 10th episode of the original Ultraman in "The Mysterious Dinosaur Base."
For various legal reasons as well as a dispute on the victor, the short has remained buried. Until now.

As much as it hurts to see my favorite Godzilla lose, I would rather it be at the hands of no one else. This is really well edited. Making it black and white was an excellent way to match the footage up seamlessly. Overall, great work.

Superb! Not only does going with black and white make it feel more serious and helps to pass Jirass off as Goji, but the darker contrast really makes this feel like some forgotten media that recently resurfaced. Well done!

I love your usage of the Varan leitmotif during the battle. I feel as if that is the score they would use if Toho and Tsuburaya Pro. actually got together and made a movie like this. It's the perfect theme for a battle between two legends of Tokusatsu, since the main theme for King Kong vs Godzilla (1962).

Wow! This... was... amazing! I did something similar on my channel, but the editing here is better and making the whole thing black and white not only helped you blend everything together (even night and day scenes), but it also helped you really give it that old-school feel. I love how you only used clips from the Showa Era too. What's more the "background lore" for this fan film, even though I know its not true, is really cool and adds to the experience of watching it. Keep up the good work!

I know this comment is fairly old, but he actually does. The Ultra Series gets insane, with multiple universal (even multiversal) threats every season. Even in the original series, Ultraman fought a fourth-dimensional alien in the form of Bullton. Godzilla *does* eventually get to that level in terms of comics and more obscure video games, but Ultraman still has more of it to showcase
Of course, this edit was just done for fun by the dude, and obviously wasn't meant to reflect how a battle between them would actually go
