@@MichaelAlso I currently use the Sennheiser e945, but want to switch to a wireless system. The XSW wireless uses the e835 capsule, so I'm going to give it a try! I'm not sure it will have enough high frequency for me though.
I'm almost religiously faithful to SM58 for stage vocals, and I think that's why I was put on Earth, but I must say, I liked the Encore 200 on this video as well. Cheers! :)
What is your opinion on the TGV70 ? I was about to purchase it based on reviews and some other videos but in this video it doesn't sound very good compared to the others. A lot of plosives sounds...
It was a very loud microphone that distorted / overloaded very quickly and had a lot of plosives. It required more EQ to get a decent sound. I ended up using the Sennheiser e835 on my voice and the Blue enCore 200 on the Female singer in this video for live performance
The V70, if it's the ribbon, is terribly misrepresented in this video. Too much gain and too close. It's like treating a manual car like an automatic and be surprised when the engine fails at a red light. 😂 Also, for some reason, he sings off axis into all of the microphones. Get that hand angle correct.
Gain down the V70, and don't sing into the microphones with that angle, you're getting an accidental off-axis effect even in the on-axis samples, and some microphones are less forgiving about that. As they very well *should* be in a stage situation. 🙂

The shure sm58 sounds really warm, clear and full. I like it the most . Other mics are sharp and bright .
Absolutely brilliant video - thankyou!
Anytime! which mic did you like best?

@@alexsouthgate7551 let me know how it works for you!!

The Encore 200 is very natural sounding, and I use it on the female's vocals in this video when we perform together live
From this test I'd say the Blue 200 is the better sound. The first Mic had less side noise.
I enjoyed the Blue 200 as well, especially on the female's voice in this clip!

@MichaelAlso thank you for replying, have you ever tried the se electronics V7 ?
@@dannysiacovouguitar I haven't but I wanted to..I think a lot of people like that one
beyerdynamic v70 is a great microphone but for experienced users!
it sounds close to expensive condenser microphones.
