Traxxas made a limited edition Snap-on Fortec announced and delivered before the Corvette it has the longer wheelbase and the larger rims and tires just like the new one I have one and I put a 3s lipo set up in it and it is outrageously fast
I got mine today. Keep us updated about the mod 1 conversion. . It look like it will be easy . I did it on my 2.0 like you should us in the video. Worked out great.
A while back traxxas made some on road cars with snap on. They’re hard to come by but from what I’ve seen, it’s a 4tec with a slightly longer chassis and different wheels and body. This is the same thing just as a full on traxxas car using corvette body.
I recently purchased the snap on special edition used but nearly perfect condition for 150 dollars and also the slash snap on edition in excellent condition the body never installed for 200 bucks from the same gentleman.
Now that chassis has HUGE potential, great job on the description brother, and good job to traxxas design team, I assume by the end of the summer, UA-cam will have a flood of 160 mph 4tec 3.0 videos!!😎
Just got my supra gt4 edition and took all electric out put castle creations in. Adding lots of stuff. Favorite add on was the sway bar kit for stability. Can't go wrong with the Traxxas sway bar kit
Hey man! Long time fan and I never got around to subscribing. Just did! Question for you. The Speed Run car you just showed, does that have a different motor mount that allows for bigger motors? I have a 3.0 I am working on right now and had to modify to make my castle 1515 work on it. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Drive shaft and chassis plate and a new body mount option with larger tires sounds like a 2.0 to 3.0 conversion wouldn’t be terrible on the pocket if the diffs are the same

I loved my felony with the proline c8 body....until my lady friend blew it up. Im interested in the car to see if 60-70 mph is reasonable and if can do drifting without blowing up the tires or flipping it. Id like to see similar power and stability as the felony but half the size. I ordered the red one...just in case >:)
I hope they sell extra bodies soon. I ordered this last month and it's my 1st RC since the '80s (Tamyia hornet). I'd love to keep the original body in perfect shape and a few extra bodies to get crazy with

those holes in front of ESC are for the High Voltage Light Kit Power Supply, same on the Maxx, XMaxx, and Revo

I’m currently working with someone to develop mod1 gear conversation but still using the factory bearing and stub pin.
You mean center drive shaft to accommodate mod 1 ⚙?

Its a new 4tec. Thats only what it is. The body becomes an issue after you go above 80-100mph
Actually at 45mph she flips over and just careens everywhere no stability at all when upgraded
