They should reroute it from Forest Park to 54th/Cermak while finishing the section to Forest Park like the Red Line did when they got rerouted from 95th to Ashland/63 when the Dan Ryan 🛤️ were being reconstructed in 2013 & the 95th Ⓜ️ in 2017
Decent video, but I think you should have touched on the amount of grassroots organizing it took to get 7 days a week service on the Douglass Park branch prior to the Pink line being implemented.
I am in school, and have very little time to work on the channel lately. Hopefully as things wind down I’ll have more time to work on videos. I hope to make a brief history of each line eventually
they arent currently running any 5000s on the blue line are they? I thought that was a temporary measure where they borrowed some cars dispatched from the pink line and ran them on the middle portion of the blue line to help alleviate some of the service issues. having 2600s, 3200s, and 7000s all on the same line is certain to cause headache though. on the line i work we only have 2 types and they can be put together in a consist, they just have a decent number of parts differences, so we often have to special order a part and get it sent over from other shops just to fix our units, because we may have 3 of a particular part, but if theyre all for a 3200 and the car is a 2600, it wont work, etc.
So unfortunate the Humboldt Park branch was removed. It would be such a well used line today.

I would have implemented that if I knew it happened, so my bad for not doing further research. Thank you for letting me know about this!
