  • Hello again, babes♥️
I am SO sorry for the length of this video! I really tried to cut it back but I didn't want to leave any information out. In today's video I tested four different kinds of hair coverage over two weeks to see which one I liked the best😅
I had so much fun making this video - it was my first time doing anything like this and I really like how it turned out! Please give this video a thumbs up if you'd like to see more of these, and subscribe if you'd like to see more from me in general🙏🏽
    What I Used:

Thank you for giving more visibility to this issue. A lot of women don't talk about this because it causes a lot of shame and insecurity. But I suspect that there are a lot more of us struggling with this than we know. But just- everyone PLEASE make sure you're seeing a doctor about it, because it may be a symptom of a larger issue. Take care of yourselves ❤💕

Drs. don't have the solution either. This is happening to so many women because everything arround us is toxic, including food.
Drs will prescribe things like minoxidil, which they don't even know how it works and causes heart issues.
I have been to many Drs.. they don't know, don't care and just want the money.
I am trying natural treatments, detoxing and getting rid of inflammation from the body. Hope it works.

Izzy, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I used to have thick luscious hair in locks, but since diagnosed with Lyme disease (one of the ugly symptoms of Lyme) I lost half of my hair volume 😔
This video is great because even though the pigments are temporary, it still gives a few days fix which can do amazing things to our selfesteeme. Thank you Zoe 💖

Carla Grado I'm in the same boat. Most doctors won't even look at my scalp. They just tell me the first medical condition that comes to mind and end up wasting my time.

Same here!!! My problem is also more spread out then hersI have general thin hair all over (my whole family does) it is so frustrating!!! None of these spray option came in shades for ginger hair, except for the toppik! Which I agree is not “great” but it’s all there is so... I use it!!! Us gingers have hair issues too SADLY!!!! 🤔🙄😤

Try to detox the body and get rid of inflammation. I have been suffering with this for too long and see lots of women arround me with the same issue.
It was not like this in the past. All we have to do is look at picks from the 60s or 70s. The cause has to be what we eat today. It's not genetics, it's not stress. It's infammation due to toxicity. It's lack of gut bacteria in the gut. We need to go back to eating fermented food.
It's a battle. Stay strong and God bless.

To keep from getting the sprays or talc's from getting in the middle of part, use an index card or some kind of card and place it over the part (white part) and then spray or talc. Then switch the card to the other side, and spray or talc that side. Works great and keeps your part white...

I don’t think anyone appreciates these videos as much as I appreciate all you guys watching it♥️I’m so happy to be helping and shining a light on something so common but socially taboo. Is that line expensive? It’s daunting to think that I have to use something forever to keep my hair🙈I think I’m a commitment-phobe haha I believe it works though! And I’m so glad it works for you♥️✨thank you for watching!

    • @yelenarivera2422
      @yelenarivera2422 5 років тому +2

Zoe Cavey I don’t think Keranique is too expensive, especially if you buy the trial size kit which is how I started. It’s available at Sephora and Ulta so you can always return if it doesn’t work for you. ( I didn’t use thickening mousse or spray, not my thing). but you are right i was happy to see results but doing something forever to keep your hair growth was a bit frustrating, but honestly it is easy. I think bc my hair is curly, I have to constantly change up my routine/products to keep my curls looking healthy/plump.

I had the same problem! It was so sad and currently growing back and looking normal! What i do that has helped is
1.massage my scalp before washing my hair,
2.I have a scalp massager that I also use in the shower, helps to distribute shampoo
    3.I take vitamins & biotin,
4.rice water mask, (organic & massage on scalp)
    5. wash my hair less
    6. No super tight buns
7.Good Shampoo, Cre-C max shampoo. Now I don’t forsure if the shampoo has helped my hair regrow or less stressing has but that is the one I’ve been using. It’s from Mexico but can buy on amazon I also used Big healthy hair shampoo and it has good ingredients.
    8. Can’t be lazy and have to be consistent

I personally use the Dark and Lovely Batisse. I workout a lot and that dry-shampoo element really keeps my hair clean enough to allow me to do skip washes even though I'm sweating up a storm! And it doesn't run. Cause you know with thinner hair, oil is our enemy! Thank you for this vid!

Prenatal vitamins are amazing for hair loss. I had very bad hair loss after my second child I had very visible bold spots. I managed to get in under control after a nurse told me to continue on my prenatal vitamins. I had 3 more kids after that and never experienced that type of hair loss because I regularly take them now. Vitamin d deficiency causes havoc on the body. Just please make sure you are seeing a doctor to keep everything under check. You are a very beautiful girl and you have a super sweet personality . I pray that you get some answers😊

I hate the fibers I strictly use powders and I love them. Back when my hair loss was like your I used Joan Rivers ‘great hair day’ and it was amazing. Since my hair loss has gotten worse I switched to DermMatch, it’s a little pricey but lasts forever. If you try it the DermMatch, I usually use it wet and with a brush instead of the sponges it comes with. I use the brush that comes with the Joan Rivers actually. It looks weird wet while you do it but it goes pretty fast and once you hit it with a blow dryer after you apply it, it’s great. I’ve never found transfer with either product over the years and they are both waterproof. I’m going to buy one of these sprays tonight to try when a rush but it won’t be a daily thing since I checked the ingredients and they aren’t great for hair or the scalp and I can’t afford to lose more than I do on a daily basis. I love that you’re making these videos, you’re awesome. I was much older than you before I could be so open and honest about my hair loss, it’s quite hard for me to read some of these comments though. There’s a lot of sexism in the hair loss community and in our society that never gets addressed and I see much of it with these comments (and comments I receive in real life). 😔
Lots of love to you ❤️

I came across with some recommendations on Tik tok first because I suffer a lot of hair loss and thin hair and I have a lot of bald spots throughout my scalp and I’m glad to know a lot of people suffer of this too. I was going to try the Toppik one but I went with the L’Oréal spray instead. I’ve been using it for this week for the first time, I think it works great however in hot days my scalp looks a bit oily and bright, and it doesn’t come off easily. I shower and wash my hair everyday and even after it I still have some product on my hair, also it gives me a bit of an itchy sensation at the end of the day

I didn’t like toppix because it also got all clumpy in me but I REALLY like boost n’ blend. I’ve also heard of a Joan Rivers powder that I’m going to look into. Also, a small hair topper is a great option, then you could clip and go and give your part a rest from chemicals.

Thank you so much for these videos. I'm 25 and I noticed my hair thinning my senior year of high school but didn't make much of it until a few years ago my boyfriend at the time was looking down at me and asked "Are you balding?? I can see your scalp" I've never been so mortified in my entire life and it's just added another insecurity onto my long list. I've been using topic for a couple of years now and I'm so glad I stumbled upon your videos because now I know that I have more options! Thank you for sharing this with all of us. I could never be as brave as you...most people don't even know how drastically thin my hair is because I don't talk about it, I'm too embarrassed to talk about it.

I'm so glad you've found these videos useful, thats all I wanted! Thin hair is nothing to be embarrassed about babe - I hate saying it because it sounds SO cheesy but if people have a legit issue with you about something as small as that (when everybody has their own weird things they're dealing with) lose 'em. I've found (at least for me) nobody actually notices as much as we build up in our heads, it's our anxiety playing tricks on us. I bet you're gorg❤️ let me know which spray you try!

My current go-to is arrowroot powder + activated Charcoal + (optional) cocoa powder to soften the color to a brown, instead of black. I mix them in a glitter duster bottle, and it costs less than $20 in ingredients and lasts about 6 months.

I just use the browns of eyeshadow to get the white out of the hairline and it works great! It lasts as far as the powder in the palette. You have to put it in your hair everyday but a lot cheaper…

When I use the toppik fibers, my scalp will sweat which kind of makes the fibers really shiny/clumpy and look really obvious in any kind of light. I think it is just a really temperamental product that I can't seem to make work. After watching your video I will definitely try that Batsiste dry shampoo one, thank you so much Zoe!

A tip if you want to spray your parting without it looking completely masked over and fake is to put a piece of string along where your hair would naturally part, and then spray the coverup spray. Remove the string and then blend along the parting line with a small makeup brush so the white part line isn't as harsh.

    • @ZoeCavey
      @ZoeCavey  5 років тому

I just feel like trying to hold a string and spray at the same time is going to be like near impossible (especially for me haha) so I don't mind if it seeps onto my part a little..honestly most of the time it doesn't but because I was doing it in my living room in front of a small mirror it wasn't the cleanest application but I'd still go out like this I'm not too fussed haha thanks for the tip though!❤️
