I dont like Anime that much but Cowboy Bebop is much more than that, its an artwork. The flair, the combinaton of picture, motion and Sound, the cuts between different but same things (falling paper snippets, falling shards).
Seriously, I don't want the Cowboy Bebop Live action to happen. As they'll mess it up, but i'd love to see this scene remade shot for shot with actors. It would be amazing. It's cinematic perfection
@@Molluck1 It wasn't bad. There's only so much you can do with live action, but they did a fine job, IMO. I've seen much worse (the Fist of the North Star live action with Christopher Penn, the Street Fighter movie with Jean-Claude VD and Raul Julia). Yes, they took a few liberties with rewrites and it's not a 1:1 conversion from the anime (the eco terrorists turning people into trees, rather than apes), but aside from Faye not showing nearly enough skin, there was nothing bad about the live action Netflix series. The intro was done almost identically, which I found very impressive (again, there are limits). And you cannot deny the kid they found to play Ed did it perfectly, even though it only had a few seconds of screen time. Unfortunately they decided to release it the same week Season 3 of a popular show dropped, as well as other titles most people were waiting for, and so used that to skew the viewership numbers to justify dropping it. Hopefully Amazon picks it up.
I think it was Jett. He did get a call and reluctantly dropped whatever he's doing and it was shown him going out of the ship. I'm not sure Faye had enough strength to even catch Spike.
Song is so beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes back in 2001/2002. Now I'm going on 40 yrs old & it still brings the tears just the same.
Same brother. Same.
I was in the Army, I was law enforcement. I've done and seen some shit.... this song still hits me.
This is the most beautiful song ever created. I have been telling people this for years.
It really is, I watched this scene at least 20 times just to hear it
you're gonna carry that weight
Loved this song since I first hear it in the 90s on #AdultSwim

I have high hopes as sunrise, the production company, is working with netflix
@@HaloProdigy22 but what's the point, why not something original? The anime is an unsullied masterpiece, why add?
@@HaloProdigy22 The creator of Cowboy Bebop, basically came out and said he is praying it isn't horrible.
Well.... Netflix.... did something, I guess

Anyone know the song title, would like to download the full song.
Did Spike actually fall to the ground here or did Faye save him before he landed?
He fell, she dragged his ass home I believe
Watch the show bud. Trust me.

@@chocobosage that might also what actually happened. Spike has too much bondages for a few shots and stabs. Maybe he really did fall.
Not sure.
