From 2000 on, some songs or music is immediately synonymous with a skater: Johnny Weir: The Swan, Sasha Cohen: Romeo & Juliet (Nino Rota), Tim Goebel: An American in Paris, and now, Alisa Czisny: Dr. Zhivago. That sit spin really fit the ensemble of the music at the fist half of the program!!!!
this defines stunning. the music is soo captivating and gorgeous, and it suits her PERFECTLY. while there will never be a sasha cohen with her lines and perfection, alissa is about as close as we will ever see. she is just such a joy to watch, and as scott said, you want it for her!!! i'm SO happy she won this title it was her time to win. my only complaint, the audio is off in this video if you could reupload it that would be great!
Please pay close attention to Caroline's entrance into jumps, positions, rotations, and speed of spins, as well as speed, extensions, and overall package of the program. Then you'll probably get to see that while Caroline completed 6 or 7 triples, I'm sure she either did not get that many GOE or had lower levels of executions. Also. Don't really remember, but I think Alisa, had a greater advantage during The Short in comparison to everyone else. Thanks.
She actually got better with new coaching, is part of an athlete’s career. Long term coaching doesn’t always fix the issues. Her new coaches fixed her technique drastically on jumps. Plus has more international experience.
She was a brilliant skater overall, miss her so much!

In spite of the fall I love that Alissa has a TRUE Lutz edge. :)

Julie was her best coach. Unfortunately she lost Alissa to a young male coach but Alissa lost her winning streak fast after she ran to him.
I disagree. Jason and Yuka did wonders for her! She won the GPFinal in 2011 and Nationals under their coaching.
