I've just been down to my local bookies to place a tenner on Newry City to beat Ballymena in the 2972/73 Champions League Final. Got 12/1 odds so I'm pretty chuffed with that
Regarding City, there needs to be a feature implemented where a club can vacate a stadium, or reduce capacity, due to not reaching anywhere near its capacity so that they can reduce overheads. City will constantly enter administration each year because the cost of the rent is more than their income that low down, so they'll never have youth facilities and won't be able to keep a team together.
18:45 I was waiting for so long for this to be noticed! Also you can also see the previous positions and see how much they’re changing year to year. The Danish league went from 1st to 15th from one season to the next. I think another big contributor to what happened is that because only England is loaded they’ve been the only ones building new giant stadiums. Like Barcelona are still at the Camp Nou with 105k capacity, so they’ve expanded but not built a 140k behemoth like many English teams have. So that stadium upkeep, especially once they aren’t packed anymore, is killing teams.
Yea seems on a typical save England jumps to first Spain second. Germany Italy end up swapping a bit and France always stays fifth. Outside that you see a decent amount of changes but not big jumps in the top 25.
Blackburn going over 120 games, thats over 3 years, without being beaten...As a Leeds season ticket holder it also seems perfectly expected that we would be below Whitby I suspect City are being nuked by the £1M per year stadium rent
Small highlights I noticed, Icelandic(!) team Breiðablik win the champions league in the 2185/86 season and from what I saw were the smallest team a that point - and go on to become a force, when you view the league reputations the Danish 3F superliga went down to 15th after previously being 1st suggesting all leagues reputations are *very* volatile at that point
I miss your single team saves SOOO much. The comedy, the continuation, falling in love with the players, sticking to the same team, it was the best FM on UA-cam.
These are always class to see what happens with teams across Europe. I'm always intrigued to see the most obscure teams to have won a European trophy especially as makes for great viewing.
Maybe the league ratings have a cap and all leagues are there so whoever wins a European trophy gets top spot, English teams could have had a steamer of a year and lost all their spots and never were able to get back into it even tho their teams were best
I came close with K.Adeyemi on scoring 57 goals in English Premier League after five seasons,i played with West Ham. It's fascinating to see that after 1000 years nobody scored 60+ to beat the record of Dixie Dean for most goals in a season (60) and we saw players payed 300 millions..
The Champions League winners gives me an idea about the UEFA coefficients. If you bumped up the coefficient to whatever the max spots would be for a random lower european league would they just start winning it after a short amount of time? Barca, Bayern, and the English teams not winning it anymore 1000 years in makes me believe just having the chance to start way further down into the tournament is a HUGE boon.
No. This is happening purely because how regens work. Those teams from leagues that are not loaded, will load up some random regens (greyed out, cant buy them, just virtual players), and those are CA/PA according to the match they play in. So if Chelsea with real players plays in 2500 against a team full of regens who are greyed out, they will be insane on the CA/PA side. Making it impossible for real team to keep up. The interesting part is that its not really happening with national teams.
I was wondering as I started this video where my beloved Hatters would make an appearance. Didn't think it would be for the lowest points ever in a PL season with 1 and 37 league defeats...... I'm off to eat ice cream
Ben, I love these experiments! I think that the thing to keep in mind is that these time-frames are unimaginable for the human mind - it's impossible to think what football, even human life itself, will be like in even one hundred years time, never mind a thousand years! It's probably more likely for Man City to have dropped down a number of divisions than it is for them to have stayed at the top for that length of time. And you never know, maybe in one thousand years we'll have hover-boards and the Tories have evolved a conscience.
As a Evertonian the 800+ yrs was amazing im just glad u didnt mention us. Lol love the vid stay safe 👊 r u doing a serious on youtube or posting highlights of one.
How do you set up the home screen like that? With the picture of the stadium and things? Seen loads using this but I can't seem to get it. Love the look
Maximum dedication and maximum workout for the computor u my friend are a saint winds me up waiting for 10 mins when i advance the start of a season to start unemployed nit sure how u managed to stay sane during this. Stay safe 👊
I am from the netherlands. The eredivisie is my competition. If this comes true, that would be amazing. I Will be die for a very long time by then, but still just the idea is amazing lol.
As someone from Newry, I did not expect to see Newry City beating Ballymena in an all Northern Ireland Champions League final in 2972

@@killah10killah33 I hope your great great x250 grand kids appreciate it
I like how Ben locks in on Slough... first thing I saw was lack of European spots, and that the EPL had dropped to 24th in the ranking list.
Jumped out to me too… I’m always looking at league rankings when I’m asking for affiliates in the game.
hope he makes this a series like different episodes looking at different things
If we did a Part Two... what would you like to see?!
World player of the years
Doncaster rovers
Sheffield Wednesday FC
League rankings, why is the prem so low
@@istreet9888 It's not the fact the prem is "low" its EVERY league is massive!

I'd love to see HITC Sevens do a video on the fall of Man City in 3022
18:45 I was waiting for so long for this to be noticed!

Gladdens my heart to see Dixie still holding his 60 goal record
the idea of 98 thousand empty seats at Leeds home games is deeply sad
Blackburn going over 120 games, thats over 3 years, without being beaten...As a Leeds season ticket holder it also seems perfectly expected that we would be below Whitby

My word the new background looks outrageously good!
The new background looks really sleek Ben, great job

Brann winning the champions leage was amazing to see, hopefuly we can get to the uecl playoff round today
Look at that streamer background, so professional and very pog looking
Im more shocked Manchester City are in the Southern League rather than the Northern Premier League
Can you do a career mode with man city from this point
The league coefficients are fascinating. It looked like Eredivisie went from 12th to 1st in one season?!
Maybe the league ratings have a cap and all leagues are there so whoever wins a European trophy gets top spot, English teams could have had a steamer of a year and lost all their spots and never were able to get back into it even tho their teams were best

Like the Studio revamp Benjy!
1000 years later, and Kidderminster Harriers finally get out of the National League North
I love that these teams are playing in stadiums the equivalent of a team now playing in something from the 13th Century!
The Brian Clough Cathedral

The funniest thing in this is the highest attendance for a champions league game which is 140K for Crystal Palace v Atletico Madrid
Jesus, the year 3022 and Northampton are still in League 2
Can you upload save to google drive or something like that so we can also explore save, thanks.
I was wondering as I started this video where my beloved Hatters would make an appearance. Didn't think it would be for the lowest points ever in a PL season with 1 and 37 league defeats......

This was fun but would like to see you go into greater detail on a shorter one, like a 100 years but go through it year by year.
What a rebuild that city team would be!
I loved how you mentioned that Scotland had only won 1 World Cup and that it was "a long time ago". The irony almost choked me ;-)
That record breaking Palace season is 37 wins and 1 draw, basically just any team I challenge for the title then.
Cardiff being the first Welsh team to win the UCL, perfection.
Im so confused by the carrick thing, they must have won the FAI Cup, as they cannot even get promoted into the league system in Ireland
the danske bank premiership (northern irish league) was fourth best in europe in the league rankings screen !
Seeing how the premier league has fallen from number 1 reputation league to number 24, is quite something.
I like that the stadium capacity at Peterborough is equivalent to almost half the current population of the city
It would be good if you went through the teams you've managed in previous years and seeing how they've done in this save
A decade and i feel sick...
thousand? absolutely legend....
Crazy to see the Swedish league being dominant with a number of Swedish champions league wins but never got a World Cup.
Mind blown!!! my name is Adam Collins and I'm a man utd fan! 🤯🤯🤯
Absolutely love the new background setup
Just knew you were going to click back onto the hour-long transfers page 😂
You also gotta take a look at the rep of the leagues and they all have 4,5 stars rep, so they're just the same all of them
That backdrop looks fucking unbelievable
Now let's make a database where all the teams start in the leagues they're in on this save.
For science.
Ben, I love these experiments! The prem is the 24th best league in the world in this save
As a City fan, seeing where Man City is in your savegame really made me chuckle and shake my head in disbelief. lolol WTF just happened there.
You have arsenal the only big team that’s never been relegated from the first division and didn’t think to check how their last 1000 years was?
Kenya finished runners up in the World Cup once, that's pretty outrageous
How slow does the database run? Really wanna do a play through using a similar sized database
As a Evertonian the 800+ yrs was amazing im just glad u didnt mention us. Lol love the vid stay safe 👊 r u doing a serious on youtube or posting highlights of one.
3 world cup wins and at least 3 wc finals reached for Iceland get in !!! We´ll take that
QPR with 10 chinese players is interesting lol
How do you set up the home screen like that? With the picture of the stadium and things? Seen loads using this but I can't seem to get it. Love the look
any chance of a 10,000 year simulation?
Premier League being the 24th top division in the world is kinda mental
I love your backdrop Ben
Keith Alexander Arena.
You love to see it.
City Goal difference -130, did they even use 11 players
love seeing my hometown of lowestoft making it to the big leagues fantastic content as usual
Love the new set-up/studio!
that background looks so cool
Benjy, how many titles/trophies have Bristol City won? Just noticed they won League 2 in 3018/19.
Wow what an achievement for Macclesfield who went bankrupt in 2020
Maximum dedication and maximum workout for the computor u my friend are a saint winds me up waiting for 10 mins when i advance the start of a season to start unemployed nit sure how u managed to stay sane during this. Stay safe 👊
Semi Pro Bredalblik winning CL's in this universe too...
Is it just me or did anyone notice how the eredivisie jumped 11 places to 1st on the best leagues?
Loving the new office Ben!
Just watching through, on the records page, it says Blackburn went on a 122 match undefeated streak, what i would give for that in RL
Can someone pls explain to me how to sim 100 or 1000 years in the future pls i need this
Ah I haven’t seen an FM UA-camr do something like this in a few days great stuff
I sent a trend 7 years ago apparently, and Lollujo killed the 'in the future' stuff. Dreadful
loved the vid and great to see you making content you enjoy ben :))
As a Lutonian I feel I'm within my right to say "WTF HAS HAPPENED TO LUTON!?!"
City paying 900k per year in stadium rent might have something to do with their financial trouble.
I like how it says Liverpool will win the league this season. I highly doubt that.
Can we get the save file?
This was a great video keep up the good work
Nice to see Shane Long is still the fastest goal scored. At 9 seconds
I think Man City falling the Tier 7 is the lowest I've seen a premier team fall.
I am from the netherlands. The eredivisie is my competition. If this comes true, that would be amazing. I Will be die for a very long time by then, but still just the idea is amazing lol.
Lovin the background!
How long did it take to simulate?
A Chelsea/Cardiff/Crystal Palace era... I didn't C that coming!!
Usually Chelsea are pretty poor on these types of videos, not this time
Man Utd fans be super happy about this video and will go to sleep thinking that's reality.
Nice video, can you share the save please ?
Please look at Northern Ireland in a potential Part 2. 4th most reputable league in Europe and I want to see what happened
How long did it take to simulate 1000 years?
I simed a carrer mode on fifa and after 13 seasons went to the bundesliga and Bayern II were 1st followed by Bayern
Did you see how many Chinese players QPR and Chelsea have?
Viktoria plzen? 71 times? Ok no words
Please start a min save from this point on. So interesting.
class video tho ben! the background looks sexy a f!
lovely to see my team Weymouth in championship.
3023: The Netherlands still have no World cups
The sheer abundance of Chinese players is fascinating
Okay, how many hours you simulate it for 1000 years ?
I would guess around maybe a month
can we get the save file?
Can you give the file?
