Bahamut really isn't easier in normal mode. He's very strong for an early boss
got to him last night your right there im on the same level as the guy doing the video and that was what happened to me use potions but soon as i used them he would pull off them crazy moves
I'm only at about the halfway point where you ask about Phoenix Downs, but basically they act as an Auto Life in this game. You use the item outside of battle and it's used up when you get a KO, but only works once.
I think materia master is tied to DMW. If you get the triple value of the slot where a materia is attached to, it levels up by one level.

Genesis's voice is growing on me honestly even if lines that should be more powerful are just kinda murmured.

Bahamut is so hard the first time lol omg had to use potions like crazy

2:09 I absolutely SUCKED at the timing! 😭 I had to go back to a previous save file to at least get a few of them cut
About the Phoenix Down Berk, you have to use it during the battle so that whenever u die, u will be revived..

I think this battle is meant to corroborate Zack is not just a regular SOLDIER. He truly has the potential to be 1st. Zack's a badass.

Does hitting from the back still deal double damage? In the original I'd run straight for his back so a lot of his attacks miss me
If you know his patterned than he is pretty easy
I don't remember having to fight the summons twice to acquire the materia... I think that's a change to try and make it jive with Remake and the way you had to fight them in the simulator.

Did all of the budget go on FF7R2? This game seems terrible, lol. Embarrassing voice acting.
Its just an enhanced remaster of a PSP game. They didnt change any of the dialogue thats why its pretty cheesy. They only changed the voice actors to be consistent with FF7R, and made combat better.
Im not complaining tho, i never expected it to be as good quality as FF7R, because its just a remaster of a 15 year old game. U gotta remember the original was never recognised as being a 10/10 game/story in first place
They didn't do much since it was made 15 years ago they just fixed it up to get it on next gen. They are using so much for REMAKE part 2
