Loving the thumbnail. 😍 As a Norfolk girl ( Alison obvs 🤦🏼♀️) I adore Hunstanton. I used to go with my parents and then by myself. There is (I think it's still there) a massive carpark on the cliffs that makes for incredible walks. It's so much nicer there when the donut stalls are open though, I will agree. Been to King's Lynn many a time too, especially the Corn Exchange, great for theatre/concerts and some gorgeous buildings. Didn't have any clue about the lady and her heart. We almost fell off our chairs when you said about the price of the Fish and Chips 🫨 We really have been away far too long. They would have been half that price when we left. Glad storm Isha wasn't too unkind to you. It battered us (did you see what I did there..? 😉 fairly badly in France too, but we survived. We missed your video last week, but you can't pass up work. 🤷🏼♀️ Much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟
Ah I did think you'd be familiar with both! The buildings in King's Lynn and all the little alleyways were very beautiful and detailed and definitely like stepping back in time. Such a shame we couldn't capture it all properly in that weather - but the rain was weirdly what made us decide to do a quick ghostly tour, so we'd never have known some of those spooky facts otherwise 😱 Hunstanton we know needs another chance - I really love how you can see a sunset there and the reddish cliffs looked stunning (oh no that word again 😂), but we just timed it wrong with weather and tide. Was Storm Isha the one we saw you in your video last week? Or possibly week before. Yes that was a bit hairy but luckily not too bad here. We escaped the worst, I think. Yeah we did need the work, we have much longer stints than that coming up and we're getting more prepared now in terms of stacking up videos ready, however it still catches us out sometimes and means we have to miss a week every so often. The less said about the price of fish and chips, or indeed any food here, the better 😂 Cheers guys x ❤🤟

Hi guys kings lynn seemed like a spooky town especially that little cottage,yep the fish n chips were a tad pricey but hey why not for that occasional treat we would have done the same 😊
Thank you, yeah you have to treat yourself sometimes! And it was the perfect antidote to the terrible weather 😍 King's Lynn was actually really beautiful in places, I wish we could've shown it off more, there's some fantastic looking buildings and streets there

As I say to my wife - who's Mrs Malaprop reincarnated - if you want it to be a word, then it's a word. Oh, and you haven't seen depressing seaside resort until you've been to Mablethorpe. I think it's where dementors spend the winter! On a brighter note, if you want to see the sun rise _and_ set over the sea, then pop over to Cromer.
I think it's already half of a song, but I like these lyrics more 😁 Haha a bit of Mrs Malaprop in one's wording is alright by me, maybe she'd been on the rum too though. Not only do made up words become real, but so do entire themes, concepts and life changing ideas...I mean, I think. Strange how we forget them the next day 🤔 Mablethorpe is funnily enough on the list! As long as we can find a decent bag of chips, I'm sure it'll be alright there 🙃 That does make sense with Cromer, we went once before and I remember the sunlight looking amazing over the pier and sea. It's a shame these days that sea-side resorts have gone down hill . I think it's generally ppl have changed about holidaying. Also the government aren't funding councils enough no surprise there. We don't like staying overnight overlooked by houses just doesn't feel comfortable somehow. Enjoyed watching you 2 😊xx
Hi Chrissy, it's very sad how so many have declined and the councils could definitely do more on that front. But yes trends have definitely changed, and you can understand people wanting a piece of the Mediterranean over say, Margate. It just must be a lot harder running businesses in our seaside towns now. Not sure where Hunstanton fits in, they all look kinda the same in winter, but I found that quite mesmerising in its own way, seeing all those colourful, fun things boarded up in the cold. Yeah not a fan of overnighting on residential streets! Our van isn't exactly stealth so there'd be no subtlety in us parking there 😂 Thanks for watching as always appreciate it 🙏 ❤
