The Time Spy score of 12300 and the almost 17k score on Cinebench R23 is off the charts for a 15.6" form factor. Wow!
Please when you do the full review detail the battery life while gaming vs typical usage (browsing, documenting editing, etc.). Also, how well the Advanced Optimus mode works. Thanks in advance.
Hey bro, my x15 is only getting around 14 to 15k in cinebench with performance mode, did you make any changes in the Alienware software or windows to boost its performance or were you using a cooling pad?

Can’t wait for the full review, but if possible can do a comparison with the M15 (preferably AMD)? As I know some people are saying it’s cheaper, and gets better battery life, and thickness isn’t that big of a difference (subjective perhaps) and mechanical keyboard is a plus compared to x15 standard. I believe some of us are pondering x15 or m15. Thank you, love your channel, always recommending it to others.
It's quite amazing actually. Alienware used to be the most expensive high-range brand, but at the moment they are surprisingly cheap for what you get.
Moreover I got an X15 R2 for $300 off. Could have been even cheaper. But I am still so happy from my purchase. I paid the same price for a Razer 2 years ago that cheaped out on so many components and sucks at thermals compared to Alienware

@@vedantdesai1 I got mine for about 350 bucks off retail. I made the original purchase for about 2800 bucks then they went on sale a few days later for 350 dollars less so I got them to do a price adjustment at Best Buy. Makes for a far more comfortable purchase.
it's amazing honestly, i got the 11th gen 3070 version on black friday for 1500 usd off msrp. I think they're slept on because epople get scared when they hear about the thermals, and obviously for the price, there is a lot of competition.
Dell taking over helped too. It's more in line with Dell's higher end stuff and has their superb warranty. It's like when Apple took over Beats. Beats were known as hot garbage and overpriced when they came out, then when people actually started reviewing them under Apple, they were surprisingly well made. Still a bit expensive, but with the introduction of the Apple chips, it made them a lot more convenient. The Powerbeats are genuinely good gym headphones too.
I put an order in for one of these the day the 30% discount popped up. Quite excited.

One question!!! What about the Coloured trackpad?? You got a 3080ti but you dont have the coloured trackpad? why?
the Backlit trackpad was removed with the r2 generation on both 15 and 17in models

@@FINM95 I agree. I'm Thankful for getting an 17R1 version with it. they keep going backwards on lightning, removing 2nd key lighta and now trackpad 😕
These manufacturers need to just stop it with the 15.6" screens. 16 is the only way to go
