OMSI 2 | Addon London | Route 201 | London Citybus 200

Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
Today we're going to be paying a visit back to OMSI 2 Addon London. It's been a long time since we've driven on this map, and I thought it'd be nice to take the very first bus we drove for a spin on the very first route that we drove.
Today we're in the London Citybus 200, or the Enviro 200 in the Abellio London branding, operating the route 201 from Herne Hill, through to Streatham. It's the usual busy day in London so prepare for some delays!

TFL is very picky about buses, they banned Citaro C2s because apparently they were "too heavy" and could "impact the environment" when actually the C2 is one of the most greenest buses on the market. So TFL won't let operators buy full-size single decks like Citaro's (once very popular, and still would if TFL didn't ban it). With electric buses now becoming popular, we might see the eCitaro drive in London

I'm surprised to hear you know these bus routes of this area so well (and the area itself).
Well, maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
I lived in and around these areas (Brixton, Streatham Hill, Streatham Vale, Norwood) in the period from 2000 to 2014. This route brings a lot of nostalgia. It's almost eerily real. You can even see the old building that the Bingo Hall used to be in, a few hundred yards before Streatham Hill Station, and the actual flat I lived in on the next block. Our flat was on the first floor on the corner of the block, and my bedroom faced the Bingo hall. That's hilarious.

Sometimes, on some E200 buses actually do have beeping on both, I think it is only on older versions of E200s and the newer ones are only on the closer ones.

I am racing you again, this time I am in Sullivan Wright Streetlite SL90. I seem to have been in the lead for most of the journey, but I am currently at Tulse Hill and you have caught up to me. Let's see if I can beat you in a Streetlite.

I can get this for £7.99 on Steam, do you think it's worth it? Part of me wants to buy it because I've downloaded an add-on for an old Leyland bus. :)

I use a Thrustmaster T300RS :) Though I can also recommend the Logitech G920 as I used to use that :)
