- During the Second World War, there were many brutal guards of Auschwitz Concentration Camp who were notorious for their actions. Kurt Hugo Muller was a guard who worked inside of Block 11 the torture and punishment block inside of Auschwitz. He was responsible for the slaughter of inmates, and he took part in the selections but also Muller was responsible for the locking up of prisoners. He was also known as the 'man with the dog,' as his pet dog savaged the inmates. But Muller was sentenced to death following the Auschwitz trial and in a Polish prison's execution chamber.

As a Polish person, I would like you to make a correction in 0:15 -> “Polish prison execution chamber” ??? No, not Polish -> Nazis chambers in Auschwitz (Oświęcim). We do pay close attention to the narrative. The concentration camps were NOT Polish. They were German camps BASED in Poland unfortunately.
Yes and the nazis learned to build such camps from the soviets.

I have been to Dachau and seen the monument you refer to, I felt chills ready it.
Auschwitz happened just because of Hitler. And Versailles made Hitler. It is much more important, not to repeat Versailles again. The UN made the mistake with the UN-Resolution 661 between 1990-1995.

We actually cleared one SS doctor in Auschwitz trial. He went home when most of the others went to the gallows. Prisoners testified he was helpful and documentations showed he refused to do selections ever. More outstanding chap than the mere bread provider to Szpilman, the pianist.
There were no "selections" because Auschwitz was not an extermination camp.
That mere bread giver was tortured to death by the Russians and wasn't even a member of the SS.
The punishment should fit the crime, whatever it may be. I've seen some of the photo's that I wish I hadn't of the prisoners. They will haunt me to my grave. You've told things I hadn't heard before. New sub.

Is this the sadistic prick-guard that had a St. Bernard named "Larry?" I ran into some victim/witness statements referring to such while doing some Holocaust research a couple of years ago. I don't remember if it was in material from the Yad Vashem Holocaust History website or some other compilation. Anybody know? I'd like to find that treasure trove of Holocaust survivors' statements again.

Rudolf Höss his autobiography is also very interesting. He wrote it while in prison in Poland.

You don't know what you are talking about. The CIA didn't exist until it was created by President Harry Truman in 1947. WW2 officially ended in 1945.

The C-10 Warthog was developed relatively recently and WW2 technology was obsolete by about 70 years by that time. The Warthog is jet-powered. In WW2, all the airplanes were propeller driven until the Nazi's developed the Komet and then the Messcherschmit 262 towards the end of the war.
Germans were ahead of the time with technology. It's not so odd both Russia and the USA wanted them, especially SS members that were anti communist.

Rudolf Hess was a different guy than Rudolf Hoss.

@@user-xh3lz9xt4l The ö in German is pronounced as a combination O and R, which most English speakers cannot duplicate. SO, Höss often comes out as Hess.

@@BoyKhongklai I took two full years of German in both HS and University, from native speakers... I assure you that is exactly how they pronounced the ö. That may be a regional matter, but the ö IS pronounced as I described (poorly, I admit). Arguing with me will get you nowhere.

The Priest is acting as a Chaplain. A chaplain’s prayers or blessings will not keep God from punishing these murderous bloodthirsty Nazis.
@@DonLoco3 Can't deny or apologize for that. I don't know if they did it thinking it would help the church survive the War or if they collaborated for some other 'goal.' But the Nazis did, indeed, send a number of catholic priests and nuns to concentration camps where they were later killed.
