These vlogs are great! Makes me wanna work at Starbucks lol. The only thing I don’t like is when you go spend $5+ on a drink and it’s 50% ice..
That IS super frustrating. Or a latte ends up being only half full after the foam and whip have settled/melted. I usually ask for light ice and no foam/whip.

I just started working at Starbucks and they’ve never given me the chance to make drinks, I just have to do the boring register all the time. I really hope I get the chance to make these cool drinks

Think of being on register as learning the components of the drinks you’ll eventually make. That’s where we have everyone start as it’s one of the hardest things to be good at. Also taking initiative to learn other things like pour overs or making back ups can let everyone know you’re ready to learn and if you pick that up fast they’ll see you’d be quick in picking up bar
when you first start off at Starbucks they usually will put you on register for a while

currently at the Starbucks stand I work at in my state, we are out of alot of things due to unforseen weather changes (lots of snow) and it delayed our weekly shipping by two weeks! (they had to close our freeway for a few days) it's been hectic and frustrating with not having ingredients and plus, the corporate areas are closing down sooner so all their regular late customers flood to the stand I work at and it's nonstop busy.

Also you’re doing the iced coffees wrong. It’s 1L iced coffee and the rest ice. If you’re brewing 2 packs of the iced coffee it should make you 4 iced coffee pitchers. Not 2.

Yup! All of our water is triple filtered throughout the store and we have insta hot water spouts connected to that system
