For anyone trying to figure out how to disassemble the front grill of the fan, there is a simple trick to make this easy. You unscrew the screw at the bottom of the plastic ring, then flip the lever down and put a flat head screwdriver in between the metal halves of the finger guard. Not the plastic but in between the metal parts. Then gently twist and the two halves will separate and you can remove the front. The back one only comes off after you unscrew the fan blades (counter clockwise) and then the other plastic nut holding the back on.
Thanks guy...I owned this since 2018...want to remove grill to clean it up...I removed the screw at the bottom, but could not pull apart the grill.....I did not want to break it so I did a search...I think your screwdriver tip will come in handy...cause of course...if you break that little plastic part...that is probably the weak link in this design...you make the whole fan start to falter.
Just ordered this off Amazon for $137... so looks like the price pretty much doubled from 11/months ago when you bought yours. I’d say you got a great deal on that. But, everything is going up in price because of COVID-19 and a shortage or price hike in raw materials. Seriously though m, thank you for the video as I’m sure I’ll watch it again when it’s gets here in 2/days. I just got my WIHA precision ratchet and bit set so I’ll probably get to use it. German steel is worth it’s weight in gold... especially after snapping two different T6 bits. I didn’t watch the whole video but I’m 7/min in and this is exactly what I need for reference when my fan gets here. I love the smaller channels that give honest opinions for products they bought... instead of being given a product in exchange for a 5-star review. Unfortunately, seems like that’s all there is on UA-cam these days. Again, thanks for taking the time to film each step... Great video 👍
cool stuff thx bro, but what I would advice if I certeainly may xD is - No info about a fabric name of the model and unfortunately you didn't capture the fan from a proper distance so the people could imagine the proper size of it. But thank You positive soul!
