Very timely, thank you for your expression. It is evident that we do not yet possess a language for what is occurring. I have often said, 'The shift is upon us. We will go kicking and screaming, or we will go graciously.' That it is occurring is precisely what many of us came here to participate with, and we do so with excitement for what is unfolding. As we attempt to communicate the necessity to remember together; collectively, who we are always and what we are forever, we learn to communicate from the heart. To do this, we must set aside all of our previously learning and positionalities. We listen from the heart, and not the (deeply programmed) mind. For many the shift will be experienced as painful because of our non-inherent, but learned necessity to defend the littleness of the human experience and the ego construct in favor of the inherent qualities that we all possess at soul level. While we are unique souls, we are endowed with the same basic divine and eternal qualities of supreme beingness. We are consciously moving from homo sapiens sapiens to homo illumini in what appears to be a quantum leap for some. Yet time is relative to the observer. Some will take more time, others will be hurled or will self-hurl into reality. In a very real sense, the shift has already occurred. We are like new-born babies learning the skill set of an advanced soul group. With divine compassion, grace, patience and certainty, we will embrace these new qualities. Carolyn, thank you again. You are talking, in fact, about The Perennial Philosophy, the thread of knowledge and experience at the further reaches of human nature, a bond that's common to the East and the West. That stream is who we are, Consciousness, Awareness, Self. We are immersed in the collective transformation that accesses this Self. It's not part of us. It IS us. And THAT's also the substratum of the Kosmos. The shift is unstoppable.
I love this. I would like to say there is a cost to expanding our perspective. I do believe there is a sacrifice required. I don’t believe, however, it is necessarily more work. I believe the surrender is deeper and it can be painful and even involve a sense of loss.

I am your sister sojourner and offer that it is time we consider that the cost, work and sacrifice that is truly upon us now, is willfully dismissing that collection of the old and sometimes deeply embedded beliefs we have been operating from. In some circles we refer to this as karmic or habituated patterning. The cost of unlearning all that we had held as precious and true may well be only the willingness to observe what it is we value; an energetic moment of reflection, if you will. Is the price of freedom, individual autonomy, and soul sovereignty worth the introspection required to see what it is we truly value at soul level? What we lose is kind of like a death grip on limited reality. What we gain is beyond language. Let us enjoy the ride!! Blessings eternally.
Gypsy Cloud, I love your response. I've experienced that soul growth requires sacrifice, but THAT sacrifice isn't what we believe or others believe THAT sacrifice is or "should" be. And yes, the sacrifice is the old way of thinking, the old lies we tell ourselves about what WE'RE entitled to do and everyone else isn't.

Hello. Carolyn, perhaps it’s just me, but I missed your definition/understanding of what the soul is. You explained the difference between it and the ego and perhaps why it [the soul] exits, but I long awaited your definition and missed it. If It is an oversight on my part, please forgive me, otherwise, please provide your understanding of what the soul is.
