Nike Pegasus 40 - A Great Durable Daily Trainer

Nike is already at it's 40th version of the Pegasus, it's the oldest running shoe from Nike so i definitely needed to test them out to see what all the fuss is about, right?
I hadn't ran in a Pegasus before and they did not disappoint.
Got a good feeling in them and the run experience overall is very good.
I can see why so many people like them.
It's a neutral daily trainer which is also suitable for heel strikers.
it has the Nike react foam and 2 zoom air pods in the midsole to give you a bit of extra comfort.
I found them medium soft, but hey it's not like we are looking at a max cushioned shoe either...

You can use them up to a marathon distance, but i would not do this with these as there as way better shoes out there that will be more comfortable at that distance in my opinion.
The price of this daily trainer is very good, especially if you look at the expected durability.

No issues with hotspots in the forefoot? That airbag bothers my foot after like 6 miles so i cant do long runs in them. I enjoy them a lot because they feel traditional

Hi!
I did not had any issues with hotspots in them.
Perhaps a possible great shoe instead of the Pegasus could be the Puma Deviate Nitro 2, also a great shoe suitable for daily runs and speed work.
Around June the new version of the Deviate is expected (unconfirmed as of now).
