I think savannah should do her story again once she gets a little older, I feel like since she’s young she looks at things a lot differently then she will when she’s older so it may be something you’ll want to retouch on so feelings don’t resurface
Im 30 and still have a random memory and realize the actual context and abuse around it a lot then I gotta process so I wonder what her perspective will be later in life hope she and all of these children know they deserve to be loved and safe :)
I agree, I didn’t realize how much of a messed up home I was in til I was 20ish.

@@HughMadBro yes! When your young your mind usually defends people’s actions aswell as you want to tell yourself that you do live in a good home even if it’s not the case , I’m 20 now and definitely starting to realize my childhood affected me more then I thought

I really appreciate how Crystal helps guide the stories without taking over and speaks respectfully about their kids’ bio parents. They seem very levelheaded and respectful of their adoptive kids’ pasts, while also addressing and validating their traumas. I love that!

I appreciate how respectful Crystal is of not badmouthing any of the birth families.
It’s a very critical part of foster care and adoption, particularly for children whose plan is to reunify. Because bad mouthing birth families can often lead the children to feel as though something is wrong with them. (We talked about it quite a bit in our foster parent licensing class.)

I agree!! She can pass for 14!!! I know it’s only 2 years of difference, but when you are a teenager 13-20 2 years of older age is a big difference!
That’s because she has those long nails, highlights and makeup on. It makes her look way older than she is.

I like the fact that Lucas was allowed to be in the back ground. Savannah has really opened up and I love her relationships with each child (teen) in the house.

She is literally getting paid to do this. This isn’t brave they are using her story to make money. Will this poor girl be able to live with herself as an adult when anyone can google her name and know her whole story, including her patients and employers. Does that matter to crystal and Aaron? No money matters to them, that’s why they bought a mansion. They will never stop exploiting these poor already traumatized kids. They should be shunned not celebrated.

Hi ❤️ from India 🇮🇳 Here in India situation isn't good due to Covid-19, so when I watch you guys it really feels very nice. it's 11:00pm in India right now. Everyday I got notification at this time so since few days before going to sleep I watch crazy pieces, that really helps me to forget all kind of negativity. So thanks for that 🙏🏻☺️

Savanah is so mature for her age. She’s growing up to be a beautiful young lady and a mini crystal!
I feel like Luke and Savannah have such a strong relationship... I'm sure they fight like all siblings do, but it's obvious he wanted to encourage her and support her in telling her story, and from other vlogs you can tell they look out for one-another.
While others are noticing how mature Savannah is in this video and I would agree to some extent, I also noticed just how young she really is in this too. I remember being at that age and not having the words or the comfort level to call out my family members on the tough things. It sounds like maybe her birth mother has some stuff going on that made life difficult for them. I wish Savannah love as she has the time and space to start actually processing that in a safe home as she gets older.

A lot of times when children go thru trauma they forget a lot of stuff. I can’t remember most of my childhood.

I think that Savannah could look like shy but she is always aware of the situation like taking care of everyone around there. Shes is stronger than she seems. And its fantastic seeing how she is gaining more confidence and how is able to choose what to wear. I think she feels relief and safety with no one judging her. I apreciate that she told her story. Shes such a nice girl. And these are just assumptions that i made. Sorry if i misspell something. Im learning a lot from you about Foster care and how to help kids dealing with hard past and btw improving my english. Lots of love for your family and greetings.

I always thought Savannah looked similar to Crystal and Luke kind of looks similar to Aaron in some ways. Totally meant to be 🤍
I feel like while it’s nice to acknowledge that controlling what your female family members wear comes from a place that is ‘protective’. It contributes to victim blaming and the idea that what you wear brings danger to you. It’s always the person that brings the danger you can be ‘perfectly’ dressed and still be treated poorly or assaulted. Also, I think male family members need this message that they do not have any control over the way others dress or behave any more than your female family member would have.
Savannah's confidence is truly amazing. She is going to be successful in life. I truly wish you all the best Savannah!

Aw I can't believe Savannah is only 12 and has been through so much, such a strong and beautiful girl. I do think she is still very young and should tell her story when she is a little older and understands a little more. The old pictures are so cute 🥰
Savannah is so beautiful... It is so nice to FINALY get to see her smile and here her talk. She's always in the background or not even present in most of the pictures and videos. She doesn't come across as a spoiled or selfish kid. I hope to see and hear from her more.

I remember when I was younger and I was in foster care it’s so hard as a kid wanting to know if this will be your forever home but then you end up getting placed into another home it gets really hard.

I’m 22 now, but when I was younger, I was going through a similar foster experience with my family as Luke and Sav did. My brothers and I had completely different perspectives! I even have a different perspective on it now than when I did at a younger age. I swept a lot of little things under the rug and didn’t recognize how wrong and traumatizing they were until now! I feel for Savannah tremendously! So much love for you and all the love and support your entire family has to offer 💜
