Couple of things to add. For people starting out. Going with a driving school is excelent. People a lot smarter than us will give you a lot of wizdom. Generally some in class sessions and instructor with you on track. For us in rainy climates I would also put your stuff into plastic totes to keep things dry. Also add to the list duct tape and a canister of gas. Make sure you know where you can fill up before and after track as there may not be any fuel to purchase at track. Lastly I find people get hung up on upgrading and all the things they need to do before going to track, when most important thing is just showing up, having fun and learning.

Great video! Even for myself to be honest. Been a while since done a normal track day with a car that isn’t centerlock equipped and I’m planning on getting back out soon with some friends and a new toy! We should link up for an SDC event 🙌🏽

Thanks for this video! Btw random question: how do you store all these tools when you get to the track? I imagine you don’t want to be racing with all those tools in your trunk especially with respect to additional weight. Is there a place you can store your tools and lock them in case you typically go to the track solo? I’m asking cos I’ve never done this before and I’d be paranoid to bring my tools to the track and then get stolen
