This shit works ...I was a carb monster...sugar craving was crazy...when I started KETO...my carb craving went away...No lie, my hunger is cut in half...my energy level is high...I still go hard in the gym with cardio and weight lifting...Honestly, I JUST FEEL ALOT BETTER...once again this shit works

The hardest part of doing keto is getting over the initial hump. You will feel tired, you will crave carbs, you will have headaches, you will be irritable. If you can push pass this, your body will start using fat as energy and everything will change. You will feel energetic, you won't crave carbs, you will have more enhanced cognitive function, and be in a better mood. Don't knock it until you've given it a really good go--at least a month. If you're disciplined enough, you can fast for a while and get into ketosis faster. I do one meal a day keto and by 3 days I'm in ketosis. Day 2 is damn terrible in terms of mood and hunger.

been doing keto for 6 weeks and only went off the diet a couple of meals in that entire time... I lost my gut... i have abs for the first time since high school and im 36... I added the Keto bomb to my coffee in the morning and usually have breakfast around 11am now but sometimes when I wake up. Main thing for me was that keto bomb stuff and eating a full avocado every day, no bread, crackers and don't feel the need to have it. I eat bacon more often than normal but not every day. I eat a lot of cheese.

Very nice information! Keep it up! I'll add that with the combination of Keto with daily 16 hour intermittent fasts, daily use of MCT oil, and exogenous ketones (BHB salts), I am able to eat a little bit more protein which has allowed me to gain muscle extremely fast, with daily full body workouts and never a sore day. My protein is about 25% of my caloric intake. I also am reading very high in ketosis every day, from dawn to dusk.

I just completed Day 4 of the keto. When should I test if I’ve reached ketosis? I haven’t felt drained since I started it, I’ve been consuming extra sodium which might be why. I’ve been able to control my appetite which was difficult before I started. This is a good way of leaning out, I already feel less bloated. I want to try it for a week to see if it is sustainable, seems like it will be. Gunna be great for leaning out.

I started working out at like age 15 and I’m 34 now. Lot of ups and downs, but I never was able to get visible abs. And I’m naturally a lean dude. I just thought I had wack genetics. But I’ve been on keto for 3 months and I straight up have a six pack right now without even trying. I’m injured as fuck too and my ability to train is at like 20 percent right now. Oh ya and my muscles are full as fuck and I still get pumps just like I always did. Idk if I’m gonna do this forever, but goddamn I’m lovin this shit right now

I found 16/8 fasting worked wonders for me. I dropped 9kg (19.8 lb) in 2 months. I don't think it was just the weight but the Body fat I lost, because everyone noticed in the first month. I didn't have to cut carbs and it was so much easier to stick to. And that's the main thing with any diet. Can you stick to it?

Carter i have this question, is it good to combine sort of intermitted fasting with the keto? So from 23 till 17 i eat no carbs and then after that i eat "normal" my oatmeal and things before strength training. I will also do cardio during the day. Henk van der Henk Keto takes around a week or two of proper eating to work. At least 60% of calories have to be fat(olive oil, avocado, quality butter). 30% protein and 10% carbs. I just eat a lot of sardines, avocado and leafy greens.

brandon can you make this thing straight? in keto the macros are 70%fats-20%protein-10%carbs and you supposed to eat from 1 to 1,5 grams per body weigth to sustein your muscle , but 20% of protein is not near to that -1 to 1,5 grams per body weigth- (at least in my case) so how you dont lose muscle with thatprotein on 20% macro ?

I carb cycled for 5 years (high carb weekends) my issue was lack of energy when in deficit so i could never get ripped. Recently decided to go back to a regular carb diet with intermittent fastin and SO FAR ive had lots more energy in the gym while at a deficit. So ya may go back to carb cycling when I bulk next as i believe you will gain less fat this way. Low carb was great for me i had every benefit except my lifts suffered when trying to get lean.
So Brandon, how do you avoid a catabolic state without carb cycling? How can you lift heavy weight without muscle glycogen? From what i can see you are basically promoting the atkins diet whixh wasnt made for lifters and is catabolic longterm

I am free (over a year) from decades of taking ineffective anti anxiety and chronic depression meds thanks to keto! I went off for 3 days and omfg I spiraled and was so unstable! A complete mess! For me, keto is medically necessary. I can't function otherwise. What a miracle!! PS I have to keep my protein below 18% and fat above 75% for optimal therapeutic effect.

Not saying your body can’t use fat for fuel but it’s first choice is to use glucose. This means that the workouts will suffer. Having an RER of .7 all the time while working out will significantly affect the amount of calories you burn during the workout.
