IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING! In today's vlog we are starting the build of the straight pipe exhaust for the R32 Skyline GTR. We are making a full custom 3in downpipe with a true 3.5in exhaust all the way back. We are also utilizing the tomei exhaust titanium tip for the muffler to finish it out! I'm EXTREMELY excited to hear this thing!

The HKS is NOT the best kit for the GTR. The Greddy suction kit is better for the piping but the filters on both kits are not very good. I would have sold you the HKS kit I just took off my car. The downpipes should be equal length and are a huge restriction as well as that old catalytic converter.
Pull the boost pill out of the stock controller after you remove that cat. Hit me up if you need any advice on this car. We have a pretty good community of GTR owners in AZ can help you out with what mods are worth it.

Tj's car will be louder (as it is with 3inch) than Dustin with open headers, the fa20 is notoriously obnoxious.
Musn't forget that 4 pots are louder than 6 cylinders

I like it. It's a clean look. The wing is also a great look. It's like when sti and evo owners go wingless. I love that look, but the wing also looks dope. I just really hope a massive wing doesn't end up on this car lol
KAS470 I enjoy the stock wing on R32s. I agree with wingless Evos and newer STIs that are wingless. Wingless on most cars looks cleaner to me, it's not as "out there". Although The hawkeye STI generation and older generationslook better with the wing in my opinion.
You should add tattoo updates to the vlog, I can't be the only one who is interested and loves tattoos as much as you!

There’s a piece of carbon fiber that goes over the bumper where the exhaust comes out, it goes around the toe hook and I think you should look into it. Looks awesome

niiiiice man. i love parts from the jdm motherland. Just be careful with those filters on that intake. They like to deteriorate and get sucked into the intake tubing. happened to my buddies rx7, had the hks intake and the filter element didn't last that long.
You should make an equal length front pipe, check out Mines front pipe sound clips!! Best sound for RB’s

It's funny when new GTR owners talk about they're cars. They have no clue! So kakimoto makes a complete 3.5in exhaust complete system for the R32,33,34. They are made to order. They will also make them in 4in. That's what I have on mine. I thought I know about GTR's until I bought mine 5 years ago. Now RB30/26 and just under 1000 hp I can say I know.

hey can u use the stock twin turbos from an RB26 with the any of the aftermarket turbo manifolds that are out there. or would u have to go custom made.

How much does it usually cost for a custom exhaust, I know different metals have different prices but roughly what’s an estimate. I want a custom exhaust 😭
mostly depends on the shop and the materials you want. my full 3" exhaust with stainless piping ran me for about $350
