As Sarawakian, I want my Kuching city to stay underrated. Life in Kuching slow and peaceful. I don't give a damn other thinking that we still living on the tree. I missed Kuching so much.
This is a great series of videos my friend👍🏻👏🏻 would you recommend Kuching as a first time/starting point for a SE Asia adventure? Take care. Safe travels 🙏✌🏻🤙🏻
Thanks G! You finally ready to face the heat? haha... I personally think Thailand is the best first time destination in SE Asia. It's more mono-cultural than Malaysia. But you can't go wrong with any of the countries. And you end up doing more than one usually anyways! Cheers!
Now that we have the Pan Borneo highway, a road trip from one end of Sarawak to the other is awesome so many sights and nature to experience along the way
I’ve always love Kuching. I always gatekeep it cause I LOVE IT so much! I hope Kuching can maintain it’s vibe but with a more structural policies and immense connectivity to other parts of the district. I love how the Government is doing that by OKSHE and the fact that intense development are made a bit outskirt from Old Town is the cherry on top it. Old Town or as we call it Pasar (market) needs no more development rather than a thorough polishing. Landmark developments are encourage.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! I agree that old town doesn't need development. I stayed on the outskirts for some time and I think there's work to be done in terms of pedestrian safety in general. Better sidewalks, more crossing signals etc.
Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subbing. :-)) I hope to be back in the future. The wife or girlfriend is a whole different story haha... Cheers
hahaha! Nice Sepultura reference! Did you know that Slipknot hired the Sepultura drummer? His name is Eloy Casagrande and he is the best metal drummer in the world now.
@@GringoNation nope but I do love the old Sepultura band. If you walk through Carpenter Street during night time, you will find many amazing place with foreign. Plus if you Upper Padawan area (after Semenggoh Wildlife), you will find some Europeans married with locals residing there.
Don't forget to visit Indonesia 🇮🇩 the largest country in the world with the 4th largest population in the world and the largest Muslim population in the world 😊
Hey, thanks for watching! I was in Indonesia many years ago and I hope to go back one day. You're right about the populations but it's not the largest country in the world! hehe...
I am a proud Sarawakian & would like it stay underated as long as possible as it is still very clean & not so populated. KL is too congested with alot of foreigners too many actually and so dirty now
I feel ya. I'm in KK now and the vibe is truly a little different. I hope Kuching can maintain it's charm while still attracting visitors from all over the globe. Thanks for watching!
Clean city, good food and friendly people

Glad to know the good vibes my City of Kuching gave you as our guest
The best vibes! Thanks for watching, Desmond. :-))
