Jimmy Rosenberg back in Oslo 2024

Everybody knows, Jimmy going back to Oslo is something special. Meeting Jon Larsen and playing at the Django Festival Oslo in the Cosmopolite, a sold-out show. I didn't want it to go unnoticed for all the fans out there. I decided to try to make a little movie about it, with my limited skills, an iPhone, and iMovie. I'm sorry my camera lens was dirty, and I sometimes blocked the view, but you get the idea...

Geweldige video!! Ontzettend bedankt! Goed om Jon, Jimmy en Mackie allemaal bij elkaar te zien. Dit verhaal is zo bijzonder. Na alles dat er gebeurd is tussen Jon en Jimmy, moet het overweldigend hartverwarmend zijn om hem in deze vorm terug te zien in Scandinavia. Hier zou een film over gemaakt kunnen worden.

I'm glad Jimmy didn't get lost in an unpredictable or, sometimes, very predictable labyrinths of life, and he still could play... Jimmy is known for unmatched talent, that he'd displayed since his childhood. Nevertheless, if I could give Jimmy a piece of advice, I would definitely recommend him quitting smoking, quitting beer and start exercising. The sooner the better. His playing and health in general will definitely benefit from it. Reaching the point of no return will affect both of those gifts of life... Take care of yourself, Jimmy.
