As a fan of Aaliyah since day one I believe she was a rare star. Truly missed by so many but if Aaliyah, mother Diane and brother Rashad don’t stand behind it then I can’t support it. I’m crazy about the fans and we’ve grown over the years, but I have to respect her family. They didn't fight hard enough to get the man that married her illegally at 15 put in prison, they didn't fight hard to stop a horrible, unauthorized film on her life get made on Lifetime and they didn't fight hard make sure her music is available for new generations to hear.
