Thank you Natalie!
Natalie, you are a born teacher. Thank you for these tips.
Love this!!! ❤️ I wanna be like you!!
You amaze me and give a reason why I need to focus on my playing in church .
I have learnt so many things from you,and although am a beginner but I will surely be there . Thanks for this lessons
This is amazing!!! Thank you so much!! I learned classical piano, took years of it, so gospel music is so hard for me. I’m used to playing what’s written and nothing else. This is so very helpful.
Same here! I think Natalie is classically trained as well so that makes three of us
I have always heard of a rolled chord but no one ever took the time to teach me how to do it. It so easy with your video. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Have Thine Own Way was the first song I ever chorded as a child but it never sounded so good as today.
Awesome👏👏👏
Oh Natalie, I have long admired your playing! I've played in church all of my life and I'm now 63. Though I learned to use the octave/chord fill-in for the left hand as a student, I had no idea there were so many other possibilities. While I can easily play your congregational arrangements, I find it hard to improvise on my own. I just don't know where to start.
I like your playing. It is amazing!
I sure wished I had seen this video YEARS ago when I was learning how to play. I have always wondered how the pianist came up with "unwritten" notes.
This is fantastic @Natalie. Stay blessed
One person needs to let Jesus have His own way.
This was amazing!! I'm trying to teach my little ones to play the piano and this was so perfect to see u do this as I play by ear. Would love to see you teach more songs like this, it was so wonderful!!! You r truly such a wonderful blessing to me, please keep it up!!
I absolutely Love this tutorial! I have always wondered how to make hymns seem more full. Please do more like this. Thank you!
♥️😊 I don’t know how to play the piano but I love music and singing this is a nice tutorial ♥️😊
@@NatalieRaynesMusic it was a lovely time. 😊😎 we hope to come out Friday ♥️ thanks for all you do. Have a blessed day
just beautiful❤
Thank you very much . I have never tried your way. I am going to practice and I am sure I will be able to play next time I am going to play at the church this hymn which I love very much. You are a very very good teacher.
Thank you! Bless you for generously sharing your gift.
Could you please post the complete song... its so lovely
I learned to play hymns by octaves/block chords but didn't know about the rolling chords so can't wait to try it. I found your Fanny Crosby hymns videos and enjoyed listening to them this week and look forward to hearing some of the others. Added you to my subscriptions.
Great
Thank You ms Natalie ❤️❤️❤️
Nice!!! I love your tutorials..I learn a lot
You are a great teacher! One of my favorite Invitational hymns.
Awesome 😄..I surely love this simplicity n Beautiful progression for sure😊🙌😇👍👍
This was so easy to follow. Thank you!
Dear Natalie, I just listened to the medley u played 7 months back. It was fantastic. I want to make a request. We would very much appreciate if you do a tour and visit sri lanka once this pandemic is ease a bit.think about it please. God blessings to you n family always.
Thank you! I will have to try this!
Your play is amazing. I want in written chord please
Thank you! I am usually stuck on playing chords so tightly and need to practice opening up the inversions more. I am going to practice with this hymn since it’s slower and also uses flats that I need to practice more. Those black keys always get me lol ❤️❤️
How do you recognize the chords in a hymnal so quickly? That’s my biggest struggle for sight reading hymns.
I thought you were saying a rolling tin!😂 Then I realised you said ten😁
Funny I've played a rolled 10th for years not knowing what it was called I played it because it makes me sound like I know what I am doing.....
Nine beats per measure???? How often do you see that?
Can you write congregational sheet music for A mighty fortress is my God? I struggle playing this one because of chord changes frequently and the 4/4 time signature. I enjoy D major most for the key- as this is a favorite key for violinists and I play with violinists a lot, many of them beginners and they don't know their flats yet. If any of you don't know, I play violin as well as piano and violin key signature favorites are D major, then G major, and then probably A major. They prefer sharps over flats because it is the way the fingers lay out on the fingerboard. It takes awhile for violinists to learn flats, way longer than piano players. I would love to purchase this arrangement if you make one.
Do you have any samples of your intermediate course ? 😀
Sorry for all the personal comments because I'm way too old to learn to play. Anyhow your hair looks great today, and you know exactly how much eye shadow to use. As I've suggested before, a little humming or sotto voce singing would be a great addition. Today is Wed. Feb. 24, 2021 here too.
