This game is pretty awesome. It will be very hard for the developers to top this one on their next Remnant project.
Probably just need to add more skills, traits, archetypes, and loot. Their formula is already well set, just expand on it.
Eh, they just need to expand the classes and give us new worlds & weapons. It doesn’t need to be bigger and better, just keep doing what they’ve been doing.
luckily there's 3 dlcs to further expand on it so they dont have to stress over outdoing themselves in a full new game
Yea, this game has blown my expectations AWAY! I'm so impressed with the attention to detail and variety of each world! Definitely gonna be replaying this one and after which, checking out the first game.

The pulse rifle doesn't always appear btw. Sometimes your world only has one barrier down there and only one key slot, and you just get the amulet unfortunately. Gotta reroll for the right world.

Tips
1. both areas are side so look for curved arches.
2. They can spawn in either of tye over world areas
3. If you are unsure if you have the right layout go to the machine at the end first, and see how many of the conduits are missing if their are 2 missing you SHOULD have both areas somewhere.
i got the decorum cipher earlier but didn't use it before leaving nerud. Now it's not in my quest items inventory so I'm wondering if I need to reroll
In that final room where you get the rifle there's crafting material called escalation circuit. It's a hidden path to the right. There was nothing for me on the left path.
Btw does stopping the timer in the dormant area still awards you the lifesteal perk, or you still have to find and kill all the enemies.
If so can I do that and then go the hidden control room just in case or I need to do it while the timer is still up
I killed all the enemies to stop the timer and got the lifesteal trait
I got the lifesteal trait by just stopping the timer, didn't kill all the enemies
if u create a main egineeer as starter class u start with all those weapons btw.
I really hope they add an option to remove the bag looks so out of place with some sets

The weapons go with the alien engineer class you unlock
Would you mind sharing your PC spec, settings? That looks smooth as heck compared to myself running a very high end PC at medium settings..

How do you get to dormant?
That containment area is the only place I couldn't figure out how to open 👀

16 damage stat is a bit low isn't it.
Or does it depend on you're power level
It is and all counts on rpm/rps
But I think it's 16 per bullet in the burst
Pulse is the start weapon for engineers as well
You mean when you create a new character and pick engineer you can get it that way?
@@wilus84 yeah they start with that weapon when you make a new character
@wilus84 yes any/all Archetypes you unlock through your main character (including the one you get for beating the game) let you start a new game, go through character creation, check the "skip tutorial" box, and it'll show you which Archetype you wish to start as with their preset load outs as well.
When I went into the room I only got the core booster and there was no pulse rifle

Same. I also only had a 'slot' to put 1 item into, which was the Decorum Cipher. I think you have to get lucky, and have BOTH Terminus Station and the other location spawn, in order to get both items.
@@BattleBro77 I had both items, only had option to put in Decorum cipher if I remember though. No pulse rifle, just the amulet

Dang, from what it looks like, my playthrough has no pulse rifle, coz the last area is unlocked and has nothing in it.
I had both, but didn’t find the roll down area next to the custodian…finished N’Erud and sent it into the black hole cuz the custodian is a lying pos. Welp now I gotta re-roll till I get the train station and the dormant facility…

These videos suck x) everyone can have a different spawn or requirements to unlock but they end up thinking this is how you get it. I got the weapon from a completely different puzzle
Not really a secret if you tell everybody.
Why cannot you show the map itself to begin with, it's easier to follow along and check where to start. This is not really user friendly with half info missing
Because the game is procedurally generated meaning no two runs will have exactly the same map layout with the same tilesets/events/etc. That's how the game is
