Steve looks like he just got up from his couch to shoot this video. Love the slippers. His gait is looking more natural too. Keep up the good work on camera and off, Steve. You're appreciated more than you know.
Steve, you are the best of the best when it comes to car information! Your skill is undeniable. What a great car, hope your continuing rehab and healing happens quickly!!~
Continue to heal, Steve. You have many followers and supporters that you have taught well through the years. One point of disagreement here. "Mustang never recovered its sales after the introduction of the Camaro." Well, all told over the years Mustang has outsold the Camaro. Today, Mustang is the only Pony car left standing. It was the first and now the last.
This started life as a V8 car with the VIN for the win (from the HOC website): 1 for Chevrolet, 24 for Camaro V8, 37 for two door coupe, 8 for 1968 model year, N for Norwood, OH assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Norwood, OH plant closed in August of 1987.
Beautiful Car! Love the bright blue! I owned a 67 Super Sport Camaro with a powergluide transmission. 350 cu It was midnight blue with white stripe around nose of car. It came with spinner hub caps. They didn’t last long, somebody stole them. I later saw a Super Sport Impala going down the street with spinners! I think they might had been mine! That’s what happens when you got to park your ride on the street! That was when I was a young man. I sold that car to a kid that had not been driving long and he wrecked it! Wish I still owned that vehicle. 😩. Great video! Thanks
What a beautiful Camaro. The engine/trans combo would make it fun to drive as well. Like some others have written, I redo the interior but leave the rest alone. Thank you High Octane Classics. Mr Magnate, great to see you doing so well, thanks for the education ~ Chuck
the corvette is a small fast gunboat. Camaro is some French word for friend or comrade. also I have a steel cowl induction hood on my 1971 Camaro that came from Goodmark
Looks like the interior was done in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Replacing it would be fairly straightforward, no cutting, welding or machining. Just enough grime on the engine to tell it’s been driven to some extent. And the stance looks like it has air shocks in the rear. I’d source a new interior from Year One and donate the velour to someone restoring an old conversion van. And drive the thing.
My first car in 78 was a 69 rs/ss 396v8 automatic convertible. My dad found it because he didnt want to pay z28 insurance! We bought it from a very wealthy family that used it only a couple of times per year in parades. lt had 11k original miles and was as new except for holes in the back seats from high heeled shoes while sitting on the top/trunk in parades. lt was stolen at my 1st job just a few months after l got it. l still look for it and it had an expensive guitar in it as well.
Steve, you began this journey walking like Biden, soon you'll be walking like Trump. Keep fighting. How's it feel behind the wheel again? I know I felt awesome the first time driving after my paralysis 40yrs ago. Man, we even have the same dead fingers on our hands. You look freakin' awesome, Steve. Progressing beautifully. Peace.

Didn’t see him drive at all. Look 👀 only closed the door.
Hello Steve, from South Africa. I'm glad to see you doing well and gaining strength day by day. Just take one day at time. God bless you. 👍🙏
Those seat do look very comfortable. You seem much stronger every video! Thanks for sharing your expansive knowledge.
I want that car!

Who butchered the interior?
The "one way" valves on the rear door frame are part of the Astro Ventilation as well. Nice Camaro!
Mr. B. Here ! ☕️🍩😎👀👍. Professor Steve is holding class 🍎🎓📐✏️📓. Very informative & interesting ! Looking Professor you then the car !

Great job Steve! Thank u for!

I know what he's talking about. I own a 1968 Camaro. Such awesomeness my 68 is. A complete work of art. 💪
Camaro Definition =A little know animal, that lives on Mustangs
You are back in action, Steve! FANTASTIC!

Looking really good and the car is nice to
Nice to see the cars in your videos driving again and nice slippers
In 67 the cougar and the firebird came out. I'd think they got some of that 22%. Great video as always. Thanks!
Nice runner. I'd enjoy these more if the asking price was included in the video. Cheers, buddy. 🇨🇦
Glad to see you're driving Steve. 👍👍🇨🇦
Steve--awesome you're back. However, those seats would be akin to putting a Cordoba's "Corinthian leather" seats into a '70 Cuda. Not a fan.
Hiya Steve. Cheers to you !!!
Well done Steve.
I like the 67 better because they have vent windows. But all first gen Camaros are great looking. Unfortunately they didn't make them long enough
Thank you Steve
WTG Steve!!! Well done.
Well in 67 you had new models the cougar, camaro and firebird but motor trend i know you were cancelled but they chose the cougar for car of the year!
Sitting here in front of my 67 cougar watching this video.
Looks like a trailer queen
Go Steve Go! love you man...
I'd rip that interior out and put it in 1975 Chevy van
My brother bought a 68 new. Granada gold, black interior, 327 4 bbl, 4 speed. The little car scooted.
Very nice!
Good job
The seats look comfortable but I am just not a fan of them. Happy to see the stock Rally wheels and not big ridiculous hoodbooger rims on there! 👍
the corvette is a small fast gunboat. Camaro is some French word for friend or comrade. also I have a steel cowl induction hood on my 1971 Camaro that came from Goodmark
Hello Steve. That's a nice car. How come you get to drive it and not me ??? Anyway good to see you again.
My favorite car....😊
Steve!
yep
Good to see you drive, Steve! Are you allowed to drive on the road yet ? ❤

Bring back vent windows.
Not a fan of the cheesy plush velour interior. Pretty tacky.
Where are the stripes on the cowl grates?

No smoking with that odor retaining interior.
I've got a pair of slippers like those. Someone threw them out so they were free. Call me cheap
My dad has a Firebird . Man these cars are small inside . I’ll stick with the a bodies !
wow the sound of that door closing at 0:16 was disappointing
Nice car, but the interior makes me gag.
In 67 you could buy a new Camaro for $2,500.
I think those caps on the mustang disappeared when some senior was stealing gas out of them amc gremlins also (wink wink)
Nice car but not feeling that pimped out interior..
🖖🤗
a nice junkyard crawl.
Not a fan of the interior. Thank you Steve for the tour
I went to the HOC site and the interior of this car looks like a wh*re house.
Chevys best 🖕 the rest!
i think the mustang still badly outsold the camaro in 1968!
Definitely a great looking car, not a fan of that interior. Ugh
