What I think is so compelling about this video is that the father never seems like a bad person. He really is doing his best to save his daughters life. He didn’t like start hurting her in the process, and the gold magic he mastered is approved and respected as healing magic. I could see the aftermath of this video as him becoming some kind of healing god, still helping people in his new monstrous form, as atonement for the daughter he couldn’t save. It’s a tragic story but I really do think that once he really did do everything he possibly could and finally had to accept that his daughter was dead, he was finally able to grieve and possibly start to heal from it. There’s just the smallest amount of hope still possible in the story. It was a beautiful animation.

Lily father done anything possible even breaking a rule and destroy own humanity form just to bring she back. The detail's show the despair and evolution of the character by pushing to much the limits. Most propably not gona be able get back into society eazly. But yeah overall this video is a complex work by describe this way of how life can change to limits and how can affect someone action's and mentality. This animation hit home somehow. Seeing how the daughters body ended up makes me remember my dear childhood dog ending. Dad was getting involved in spiritual rituals with ayahuasca and when little Pablo got sick, he tried some extreme stuff that I only realise now how crazy and fucked up it really was. At the start he would just stop asking excitedly to go outdoors. Then he would go in circles and it was kind of funny because I thought he was just playing with me (but he did not stop marching after me leaving him alone). Then he would start banging his head on the wall... for no reason. And then he would jut not stop walking even though he was limping in one leg. At the same time, his hair was falling and his peach skin was turning black/brown. It was "Cushing Symdrome" At the end of the day, little one could not even move his own body or eat by himself. He was literally bones. He stopped whining. And we kept him alive for months in that state. *From here I write in Spanish because my brain stopped working Una noche yo estaba mal del estómago, pero en mi camino al baño (que está en la habitación de mis padres), mi papá estaba haciendo un ritual de ayahuasca. Lo supe por el incienso que se olía en la casa. Mi mamá estaba trabajando de madrugada. Yo vi cómo le dio el brebaje a mi perro que ya estaba bien tieso pero respirando... Here’s the story from what I know A dad with a daughter named Lily is a famous magician for his golden healing. Lily also likes a show from what I know. Lily and the dad spend most of the day together. Her birthday was tomorrow so the dad made a golden figure version of the main character of the tv show Lily watches. As he comes to the room Lily is bleeding out of her mouth so they go to the doctor, turns out Lily has a condition that is not curable and she would die in 6 months. The dad tries hard to cure her, but it fails and Lily gets even worse as the time goes on. The dad eventually marks off the listing for replacing body with gold to heal more, and replaces his arm with gold and fails, he replaces more and more parts of his body and eventually fails and gives up. And Lily is dead.

I was a little confused about how he was alive after replacing most of his body with gold, but I have a theory. Sense gold is used for healing and his body is mostly gold then he could keep him self from dying through the gold magic. Also I have not seen any resone for why he would not be able to direct the magic twordes himself. Basically I think he is in a constant state of dying but he is healing way faster than he can die. If im right that means that he cant really die from anything aslong as he has the gold. I dont know about anyone else but I think constaly dying with out actual death sounds like hell.
I'm ngl I've always been stuck on the idea of how he keeps himself alive despite everything and I always had him replace his body parts with gold just for the concept of it. But I LOVE what you came up with. It sounds absolutely morbid and depressing and I might consider making it canon to him

It truly is one of the most deep, emotional, and most terrifying animations I've ever seen. I'm in love with the unique art style and use of different concepts. For example: the part where he starts to go mad and turn his body to gold after we witness the epic montage of his daughter dying 2:29. Then that surprise beeping sound afterwards is quite unexpected, yet it fits this video so well. It emphasises how the daughter is way beyond recovery, even with the help of gold magic. And also their last name is "Aurum" which is another name for gold. Which I think is perfect for a video like this. I'd rate it a 10/10 definitely. But what did your class think of it? I bet it got number 1 because it's so amazing. Hats off to you and your skills 👏 👌 😊 You will be a great filmmaker (or great whatever you wanna be!) one day. 👍😁

I was a little confused about how he was alive after replacing most of his body with gold, but I have a theory.
Sense gold is used for healing and his body is mostly gold then he could keep him self from dying through the gold magic. Also I have not seen any resone for why he would not be able to direct the magic twordes himself.
Basically I think he is in a constant state of dying but he is healing way faster than he can die. If im right that means that he cant really die from anything aslong as he has the gold. I dont know about anyone else but I think constaly dying with out actual death sounds like hell.
I'm ngl I've always been stuck on the idea of how he keeps himself alive despite everything and I always had him replace his body parts with gold just for the concept of it. But I LOVE what you came up with. It sounds absolutely morbid and depressing and I might consider making it canon to him

Second, I only just recently found this video and would like to commend you for making this. It truly is one of the most deep, emotional, and most terrifying animations I've ever seen.
I'm in love with the unique art style and use of different concepts. For example: the part where he starts to go mad and turn his body to gold after we witness the epic montage of his daughter dying 2:29. Then that surprise beeping sound afterwards is quite unexpected, yet it fits this video so well. It emphasises how the daughter is way beyond recovery, even with the help of gold magic. And also their last name is "Aurum" which is another name for gold. Which I think is perfect for a video like this.
I'd rate it a 10/10 definitely. But what did your class think of it? I bet it got number 1 because it's so amazing.

He still stays in his daughter’s room, crying, hoping theres still a chance, yet there isn’t. But still, the degenarates of TikTok with blue hair and pronouns still say “kill all men, we could have bone marrow babies 🤓”. Anyways, good job on the animation!

Yeah. I made an animatic with it because of how the music sounded mainly, and how some lyrics applied to my character, but not all. I'm a fan of the OG music video tho lol But this animatic doesn't go off of the song's original meaning
