There’s a book called Secret Testosterone Nexus of Evolution, and it dives into everything; nutrition, training, sleep, and mental focus. It’s the real deal, my life hasn’t been the same since.
At $36 a lb.?! I don't think so. Farmers complain so much about the middleman taking all their profits and making the cost too high, but then, as soon as they get a chance to sell it on their own, they charge $36 a lb. They're just as greedy as the middlemen. I'll continue to buy at Costco. It's not grass-fed, but it's better than not eating it at all.
I won't support animal abusers even if its locally abused thank you.👍 And WTH is " local " ? Next door, down the street ? Can 25 million Mexico City residents eat locally produced beef ?
Raw milk is NOT safe to drink. The pasteurization process doesn't "remove healing properties". All you're doing is raising the probability that you and your family will get sick.
The meat industry needs more of these small scale butcher shops. They know how to value add and they are the best educators to consumers. My grandpa believed one of the reasons people don't eat organs, soup bones, mature beef, lamb or mutton anymore is because they have no education on how to prepare those meats.
This is awesome Paul! We love this butcher, he's just down the street from us and they're great here. We come here often and it's super cool to have a place like this in our area. Thank you Paul for highlighting this guy.
Such a great video. I'm adding a lot of meat into my families diet and was a predominantly plant based eater for decades, so videos like this are so helpful. It's great to learn the terminologies for the different cuts of meat and how people cook them.❤
@dleonardo3238 the only way I get meat is ordering through a farmer. The it goes from farm, to slaughter, to butcher, to farmer, to consumer, much more economical, and fresh.

My non stop insatiable hunger has gone which of course has been the reason for my obesity. Changed to meat, dairy, eggs, fruit and raw honey. Eating around 2100 calories a day which is at least on average 500 more a day than what used to be normal non binge days of eating. I thought for sure I would put on weight with such a large extra number of calories. But Paul is right, it is the quality of the food that makes the difference. After a month I have lost 2 kg. The mind boggles as to what chemicals were effecting my feeling of continued starvation because I don’t have any cravings and feel so full after eating now. Because I am eating a decent amount of food I have had the energy to boogie board for an hour everyday and am drawn to spending more time on the beach in that peaceful beautiful environment. Waking for sunrises and back down there for sunsets and sleeping so deeply. It’s just amazing how happy and satisfied and energetic I am with life all of a sudden and how much I love each meal.
It is literally physically impossible and against the laws of the universe for you to be obese if you were eating 1600 calories per day, you just weren’t counting your calories correctly
Paul this is one of your most interesting videos. I'm a Keto/Carnavor for 3 years now. The Bucher from AZ has great info. In his shop. I would go to his Bucher shop all the time if I lived in AZ. In Utah we don't have a Bucher shop that's all grass fed, grass finished to shop at. I wish that he also had a Bucher shop in Hurricane Utah. I would shop there all the time and tell others about it. Heath is Wealth. 😊
We just vacationed in St George last week and struck out on grass fed also. We found raw milk in St George and out by Hurricane. Considering the amount of cattle we saw, there Has to be some kinda butcher working with a small rancher, but we were too busy vacationing and enjoying hiking all over your national parks last week. I’d get ahold of the raw milk people. Somebody has to know somebody.
Wow this place is amazing!!! I hope we can get more of these kind of butcher shops! Support local farmers who are doing their best to bring us healthy food💙

Message to Paul love your work mate and appreciate the free content. Keep it up and hopefully a day in the future people will understand how important red meat, organs and the whole animal from remnant animals is in the human diet. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏
I would love to support local ,but the price tag is tough. I do buy grass fed when I can, lots of Costco. That ribeye ie $36lbs. Damn. I am not wealthy enough to dismiss these price tags.
Price is going to vary from place to place. I've found that buying cuts from individual ranchers is usually cheaper than a lot of butcher shops if you shop around. What is even more budget friendly and more sustainable is to buy a 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef if you've found a farmer that has meat that you like eating. You do save a fair amount of money, though the savings is more if you take all of the organs, fat, and bones and utilize them fully. In general, the prime cuts like Ribeye, New York strip, and sirloin are going to be quite a bit more expensive than the rest of the cow due to how little there is in comparison to the whole side. Just to put it in perspective, the Ribeyes from my ~275lb finished weight side of beef came out to be 22 lbs, or right around 8%. A lot more of your cow is going to be round or chuck, a lot of which will get ground up because it can't get nicely cut into a steak or a roast.
There are some farms that don’t feed their corn and soy free pastured pork grains at all. One of the farms I buy from feeds them 100% raw skimmed milk.
Brutal for people who also spend the same on anything vegeterian, hell i've seen people spend more than this on some stupid fast food on a weekly basis, you can treat yourself good once in a while by buying some here.
Excellent video. There are numerous reasons why we harvest more steers. You want cows to continue the herd. You only need one bull per so many cows. Then we can grow them quicker. Our last few grass fed grass finished steers were huge but we have noticed the flavor is not the same as some of our older cows (as in females who have been bred.) Plus you can bulk up a steer really fast. We do primal lifestyle so our family eats 5 bovines a year. Been at this for a decade or so and help others now too. I love raw milk. I buy it all the time from a local farm. They have great beef, and produce too! Right off the farm. As you can tell, the ground beef doesn't look, or taste, the same as basic supermarket stuff.
Awesome video. I was surprised when the butcher didn't say they had pork liver. I have always liked beef liver, but when I tasted pork liver I was shocked at how much better it tasted. I was hoping to hear his take on the two.
In a word, DAO. So putrifucation means super high histamine which is very bad for those with histamine resistance 😢, a partner to insulin resistance and inflammation in humans. But what an awesome butcher❤
after buying a grass fed half beef last year, I can't go back to grain fed. The flavor is just so rich and the fat is another level of delicious. Btw bavette is incredible, but so hard to find here
makes my mouth water !! lol Wish I had one close to my area!! and FYI, i just returned from wet europe and i had difficulty finding a butcher anymore they too are mostly 2 or 3 large grocery chain store's , RIP real butchers.
His ground beef is $8/pound, which is pretty affordable considering the quality. Grass fed beef at Walmart is $5-6/pound but far from the quality of this one…

Learned a lot in this video
Nice! This is my local-ish butcher shop, love buying a gallon raw milk there for $15
$15?!!!!! For how much? 5 gallons?
@@miguelpadilla31 its for 1 gallon
@@cesar6479 woah!!!
@@miguelpadilla31That is usually the going price for grass fed raw milk. In the Bay Area people sell pasture raised organic fed chicken eggs for $13 to $15 a dozen.
Thanks Dustin for everything you do man.
So glad I live in Australia where proper butchers are still quite common.
I love raw milk. I buy it all the time from a local farm. They have great beef, and produce too! Right off the farm. As you can tell, the ground beef doesn't look, or taste, the same as basic supermarket stuff.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!❤
Awesome informative vid paul!
Excellent video. One of your best yet.
But what an awesome butcher❤
just started ordering mountain valley 5 gallon jugs. wish there were more plastic free options for food too!
Going to have to visit underbelly. About 60 miles away but looks like it would be worth the trip.
after buying a grass fed half beef last year, I can't go back to grain fed.
That butcher shop looks awesome!
$14.00/lb for ground beef 😮. Here I am trying to justify continuing to buy it for $6
Mans said 8$ /lb. With your hearing disability I hope your getting paid
Most butchers are just workers for the wealthy nowadays.
I buy from a local farmer. Same price as the stores. Grass fed beef too. 10 per pound and it's very good quality. You should check with local farms
The quality and age of this meat is what you’re paying for. 💁🏽♀️
His ground beef is $8/pound, which is pretty affordable considering the quality. Grass fed beef at Walmart is $5-6/pound but far from the quality of this one…
Love watching these sort of videos.
My doctor emailed today and said my cholesterol was a little high, even though my hdl is high and triglycerides low. She said eat low fat, avoid red meat, avoid whole milk dairy, and increase leafy greens! I can’t believe doctors recommended to eat this way! Ugh!
Very interesting, learning from the source
Skirt steak is one of my favorites too. Took me a while to realize even as a mexican fajita literally means little skirt😅
It’s so wild to me that this ain’t the norm. But I’m from New Zealand, I’m aware we are blessed.
Great video! I love what you are doing! I found a Butcher Shoppe in Vero Beach, FL!!!! YA😉YYY!!! :)
Love to see Paul visit Adams Natural Meats in Buckeye, AZ. BISON farm, processing and meat sales.
Someone should start up some nationwide butcher shop franchises with this butcher...👍
ok, for once I'm happy I live in Arizona. I gotta check these guys out sometime.
He is well informed..a good place to buy meats and milk
