This song (Nada Sou Sou) originally sung by Japanese singer Ryoko Moriyama in 1998, in 2001 Rimi Natsukawa did a cover which became popular. Since then there had been different version (Korean, Chinese, Cambodian and many more). Anyone who accused her of copying melody or whatsoever should learn the history of this song and what is Solar's Emotion project all about.
No one is more aware of copyright issues than the k-pop industry. We can be 110% positive that RBW has licensed this song quite legally from the original author(s), and that the author(s) are getting paid for Solar's use of their material.

At least with Solar it's simple - she sings a ballad, I tear up. Is 2018 going to be all Mamamoo all year long? It's a fantastic song and Wheein needs and deserves all the love and success she can get. When Solar's song was released today she had me scrambling to find the original by Kim Kwang-seok and then had to find out who he was and was so appreciative of Solar for turning me on to such an important S Korean folk singer and activist. So much new music to listen to. Moomoos are living high on the hog and happier than a pig in a pile of manure, which is quite a feat for a bunch of radishes. :)

tho i dont understand, i feel the feelings convey in those words. I think this is yongsun's strength, she put powerful feeling in those lyrics. dont get me wrong, every member has that ability to give out those feelings while singing but for me, i think this is within yongsun's niche.. like how every IS perf when she sings she resonates the feeling thru making the listener able to relate even with zero understanding of the lyrics. She can range from belting to low register, sadness to bold sexy confidence. Hyejin is second against yongsun but overall i love how all members has their specialty and colour that able to blend well with e/o.. I have yet to see yongsun and hyejin collab for an emotional pack song and maybe one day we will get to taste how different yet oddly comforting harmonies that the latter would deliver
