For Yigal it was all about his boys. Rarely do we even see his face. A humble but a great man. His work was noble.
RIP Yigal Calek.
You will be missed.

Well done for finding this archive. A kiddush Hashem!

Who’s here in 2022?
Incredible genius and virtuosity, didn['t want the album to ever end. Calek would have saved thousands of nshamot in USA.
Beautiful. Authentic Jewish music. Uplifting and holy. Yuh also be blessed.
Nice!

There was a fabulous reunion recently of the choir "boys" in honour of Yigal Calek. See if you can watch this without getting moist-eyed! ua-cam.com/video/JUYF9cra2Vs/v-deo.html
שימעו ותחי נפשיכם
@healer72 What do you mean 7th away? Is he like at the edge of the piano closest to the camera?
@brco2003 - yes, between 2 kids with glasses
ברוך דיין האמת
@TheShazco: Yoel Calek
I think I spotted Rabbi Calek, the rabbi from Ohr David. Am I correct?
Yes
@wowowoo1 yes:)
@brco2003 yes... he's 7th away from the pianist (so kind of in the center)
לצערי הרב יגאל זצל לא איתנו אבל המנגינות שלו איתנו וזה הנחמה
what is the date on this video? Anyone know?
This was a live edition of Blue Peter broadcast on Monday 10th April 1989. It began with an item on baby badgers (which I suspect was the item where Yvette was infamously bitten by a badger), then there was a Save The Children and Princess Anne trailer, followed by a film with Yvette and gardener Chris Crowder at the Lancaster Flower Festival, then a garden shoot (probably shot that morning) with Sue Elkins where the pond was cleaned up, then a film of Caron trying Uphill Skiing, then finally the London School of Jewish Song seen here.
killer
Shame on you England!
