OK, OK, OK, All us 80’s guys want to take ourselves seriously. (ha ha).
I was living in Europe at the time with a rock band I was touring with.
So, speaking of Europe, there happened to be this band called “Europe”
who released a track called “The Final Countdown.”
You could hardly go anywhere where that song wasn’t blasted from the rooftops. (I’m serious). Grocery stores, gas stations, hospitals, soccer arenas, even kinder toy stores.
So Sara and I thought about doing this track.
But after the Geico commercial the band did, we said to ourselves, “Will anyone take this seriously?”
I said, look, it’s a great song, a great band. People will take it seriously as long as we don’t take ourselves too seriously… ha ha!
So Sara put on her Sunday’s best and gave it a shot!
So I give you, 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1

"The Final Countdown" is meanwhile a hymn which is used worldwide for just about any countdown. Sara sings so great that you should always be booked when this anthem is used. The band Europe has become a really good band, which unfortunately does not receive enough attention. I hope that Sara's fantastic version will bring more attention to the band Europe as well. Sara, I hope to hear a lot from you!

She played piano and flute as a child, and danced and sang throughout her youth,
performing in musicals at Fullerton Junior College and dancing professionally in small productions around Los Angeles in her late teens.

Sara is one of my prized students, and I am honored to be her trainer and coach. We have worked together to build Sara's voice for some time, and her hard work is really paying off. She has gone from waitress/bartender to being a full-time vocalist for much better pay and has travelled overseas as well as working on the West Coast as a vocalist. Just watching her perform and hearing the power and versatility in her voice is an amazing testament to her taking her own destiny into her hands. She has gone from garage band to featured artist, and she's not done yet.
