    My goodness. Even a hurricane can’t stop Randy Dowdy. That’s just absurd.
    I have enjoyed seeing improvements over last season. In particular, the background music is much improved. And using Kevin Kalb’s nicknames in the tag lines was hilarious!
    Looking forward to more!

    Great show! Congrats to Randy pulled it off in spite of 2 hurricanes. Kevin Kalb too-- incredible dry land yields in southern Indiana. Matt came in last but 319 on what that 15 inch mess looked like! The weather/disease got Dan & Dave. Congrats to all for letting us see all farmers are seriously funny serious characters!!!

    The NCGA yield contest matters most, so well done Kevin Kalb for your 2018 results, your name is the only name on top out of the other Corn Warriors in fact I don't see the other guys. Also well done Don Stall with the highest yield of 477.6877 in the irrigated class for 2018. Maybe Don should be on the show next year. Well done to all involved .

    • @CornWarriors
      @CornWarriors  6 років тому +1

      Do the contestants in that contest share their knowledge with the world? We are not associated in any way with the NcGa. Maybe, Don Stall will also share when he joins Corn Warriors next year. ;) Both David and Randy have won that National Contest many times and are already considered the best in the world. Nobody else has achieved 500 bushels per acre in a contest. Entry in that contest is not required to win on our series, but the numbers still had to be certified. They both chose not to participate in that contest this year and are sharing their valuable knowledge with farmers everywhere. I believe I struck a nerve with your so called certified numbers. Let us remember there are rules and guidelines that you must obtain to present a yield that is certified around the world as a true yield champion, and yes your Corn Warriors on this season have done that in the past, and will do that in the future, and know body has doubted that. I am grateful for your Warriors because they have helped us all be better farmers and have pushed and continue to push the envelop on yield practices. So go eat a snickers and chill out, your not acting like your self.

    • @CornWarriors
      @CornWarriors  6 років тому

      JD. thanks for the recommendation. I ate a couple snickers and feel much better, especially because we added them as a new sponsor next year. 😉 Great recommendation. You made a fantastic point, so I’m happy to announce we used the same verification process, it just wasn’t submitted in to NCGA. Don’t worry, we checked the math. Maybe this year, you can compete with our Warriors when we launch our audience contest and you can show them how it’s done. Be well and #growbigcorn

    This's really cool, just found this channel, 400 bushels is nuts. Our last 'perfect' year had us averaging 220 and that was unheard of around us for years (NW Missouri), not us personally, but the thought that it would be typical.

      Hey Jeff. Thanks for the feedback and for watching the show. We value your feedback. I would like to remind you that it is TV and we did ask Randy to play somewhat of a villain character this year. He played the roll well and we thank him for it. He is actually a nice guy and perhaps you shouldn’t judge him too much without getting to know him 😉
