- Wheeling and Lake Erie SD40-2 #6991 shoves a cut of loaded stone cars up the B&O to Osborn Materials before dropping the empties just north of West Liberty Street. He then rolled down the connector track where he picked up his track orders to head west out of town with a cut of grainers. I caught him again at the Stone and Beat Rd crossing on his way to Spencer Ohio.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking about him. Watching those grainers at the end, I'm always looking for one his Cadillacs. Kinda always expecting to see him poking his head out or waving. Miss that guy.

That was awesome. Been watching for your latest. That paint scheme is the same as the engine of the ColoradoKansasNebraska that comes down from Imperial and works the yard in McCook where I live. And yes I think about and miss Shoestring all the time. Thank you for sharing.
