I wish I could still be in high school and still be in love with band music. It's the only thing I miss about that old place, and the only time I was ever actually in love with the music I was performing. This stands out as my personal favorite from my entire time there.

My high school and county band are performing this piece, and when I first heard the whole thing end to end I was crying. I couldn't stop. Mr. Bryant, continue to make music like this, because if this is only a beginning, I cannot wait to hear what might come next. Amazing work, amazing work.

It was a marvellous experience to play this at the OBDC All-Star band with you Mr Bryant. I was the Piccolo player and this piece opened my mind up to a whole new take on playing the Flute as well as the Piccolo!

God, what a wonderfully constructed piece this is. Kudos to Steven Briant for creating such an emotional piece of music, for almost making me breakdown to tears at our concert in happiness, and strangely enough, helping me make a huge turning point in my life.

I loved Dusk from the second we started playing it, but after meeting you (You came to Western Michigan University and did workshops with the bands) I was blown away by how humble and down to earth you were on top of all of that. I've been following you on everything I regular ever since (facebook and here mostly) and you never fail to light up my day. Kudos, sir, for being fantastic on an entirely different scale of awesome.

Steven, last year we played this for our spring trip music, we traveled up from Washington to Vancouver, BC and stopped 5-6 times along the way to perform this song (and two others). This song was my favorite and I have so many memories from playing this song. This year, we are playing Dusk on our trip and I'm enjoying it so much. This song gives me nostalgic memories of the trip last year. You write some great stuff. Keep it up.

Hello Steven Bryant, I played Bloom this year at Henderson State University Band Camp 2013. I played the bass clarinet part on this song and it was my absolute favorite piece I have played on bass clarinet ever. Oh, I'm a Henderson freshman this fall. haha. Loved this piece of music. Very beautiful and warm to me.

Yo! Bryant, dude! I was introduced to your music at a concert yesterday, and I was impressed enough to look at your page here. I am sincerely impressed with your skill, but everything I've heard so far is slow and sustained.
Have you written anything more rousing? If not a battle march then perhaps a storm scene or at least a merry jig? Something which rox? Allegro vivace instead of Andante letargico?
