Its absurd that you can not touch/ check your phone when driving while the whole car now a days operates on touch screen . it is the most flawd logic ever
They need to get Walt Da Silva on the phone. In the early 2010s Audis were the most beautiful cars on the road. They literally looked unreal compared to every other vehicle
And it’s worse. I don’t get why the sudden change in removing almost all physical buttons and just tacking on a giant screen. It looks cool for a bit. But it looks so low effort just tacking on a screen.
Honestly if they could do it like mercedes where there is two types of interiors one is hyper screen the other is normal. But audis version if normal woukd be with physical buttons I think that would be good.
I don't understand all the bad thougts about the car here in comment section. For a new model it looks pretty descent compared to the other brands. I like the new design of Audi they brought to their new cars since the Q6 e-tron.🤷♂️
@@sdfsdf23232dsfsdfYeah you probably right. But it is not as expensive for that what the car is made of. The quality isnt that bad for a starting price of 47.000 euros.
It’s certainly superior to the previous gen A4 and just as nice as the previous gen A5. I think it looks great, and I can’t wait to see what Audi do with this design with the RS5.
i think the design is suitable for some people but i can see how some people prefer the previous gen a4 and a5 more. for example the interior, the previous gen a4 and a5 have wood trim, in this new gen, there is way more gloss black and plastic in the interior, some people also prefer physical buttons. The electronics in this new model are cool like the sunroof, but the problem is electronics end up breaking and when they break, they are expensive to repair. This is where the critisizms are mainly coming from. Me personally like the tesla interior design where its simple and big screen, but im not a fan of the exterior of this new gen model especially in the front, i feel like the previous gen grill was better looking, the two side trims just look like enlarged a4/a5 s line front bumpers trims and there is a large gap in the bottom of the bumper now. not sure how i feel, but its definitely not as bad as some of bmw's newer model bumpers lol.
Mercedes went away from this design while BMW, Cadillac, and now Audi are doubling down. Honestly, looks it looks tacky-AF. I'd sacrifice screen real estate to make it more integrated and cohesive with the dash. More like Porsche current design.
Audis are one of the few brands who don’t copy.. what looks like it’s been copied? The only “gimmick” I can see is that huge tablet but every brand has that type of thing
Exterior is bad. The interior is decent but ultimately a driving hazard given the lack of physical buttons. The front of the car is hideous because the shorted grill just looks broken... and no coupe? WHY? Study the Mercedes E450 coupe's features and try to beat it. This is an A4 poser.
Audi design ain’t what it used to be. The Italian influence brought on a resurgence, but they are just copying Kia and Hyundai now. A lot to be said about the Korean automakers as of late
@@avdp9095 well, than falls onto the desing, which is homogenized, and not fit for an Audi. I take back the last sentence I made in the previous comment tho.
Everyone either copies Cadillac’s signature thin vertical LED/OLED exterior lighting or their large single pane curved glass interior displays. You cannot deny the Germans, Koreans, and American are all inspired by their design language in some form or fashion. This is even more proof of that. In fact, Range Rover ditched their iconic square shaped taillights for a more Escalade esque presence at the rear.
WHY does the A5 (lowest 5series trim) have the red hashmark of the higher trims. Man, these companies keep ruining their own branding conventions for a short sales burst. That’s why we have RS (rally sport) minivans out there.
