I’ve been pairing these with the creepy cute pastels and it’s a match made in heaven. Together they make the perfect, dreamy, pastel, shifty, sparkly eyeshadow looks.
Great tip I'll have to try with my BH lost in LA and BB pastels also looking forward to parking with dragon fruit and simply posh citrus pallet
A lot of mine are really dry... and not much payoff at all. I was really let down with this one. I was expecting a lot more WOW for $140... and I LOVE Adept. Idk if it's just my palette or if they're all like that. I wouldn't call all of them multichromes, either. Some of them are def duochromes.
I'm a singles girl, so this palette isn't for me, but all I kept thinking while watching you swatch was how similar some of the shadows look to my beautiful, magical, Touch of Glam multichromes. And considering how expensive those are, this palette seems like a great deal! 👌🏻
It looks like about 5 of the shadows are really beautiful and then the other 10 are filler shades. Not worth $140.. or $113 to me. Since I own dupes to the best shades in this
My thoughts too. Some of them look amazing, especially the third one that was like a purpley rainbow shade! But the others look pretty meh and not worth the money. Wish they still did singles!
Almost all of them are super shifty but some are definitely more intense than others 😊

Thank you so much for the review! Been wondering about this, especially at that price point… but at least for me and my budget and makeup preferences, it doesn’t feel worth it to me because I don’t love every shade. I love the third shade you swatched like it looks sooo beautiful with the purpley pink rainbow shift. The intense ones look awesome but the others just seem kind of lackluster for the kind of multichromes I prefer. I want all the sparkly intense shifts haha. Totally agree about those two blues, kinda weird they would do that. I haven’t tried Adept yet and am interested in the highlighter palette though! But I think I’ll be sticking with my Terra Moons and Clionadh shadows that I already own and love or just grab some singles where I can choose what I want. Hopefully the people who buy this end up enjoying it though! 😊 great job on the video, I love seeing you swatch makeup ❤❤
Beautiful palette. I’m happy to see lighter base multichrome shadows. I’m not a fan of black based multichrome shadows…..on me anyway. They are beautiful in swatches but make my eyes look small!

Omg Amy this video was very informative and if I hadn't already bought the palette I definitely buy it after watching this! This is my favorite Adept palette in my entire collection! And the packaging is so so pretty as well, which makes the high price tag feel worth it!
A lot of these look like duochromes. I don't know if I would call them multichromes. I certainly wouldn't pay even $12 for a single, for most of the shades in this.
@@catrice1296 Yea I bought the palette originally because of the hype and already resold it. There are some gorgeous shadows in it, but it's really only a handful. And out of those shadows I have dupes for 4/5 of them. This would be best for someone who doesn't like/buy singles and doesn't have a lot of shifty shadows in their collection but wants them all in a palette. But for most of Adept's current customer base, most of us have a lot of other makeup already and this isn't really bringing new. It is still a pretty palette, but I would have preferred they gave us some pretty mattes instead of the "throwaway" shades.
This palette is the greatest letdown for me at least .I put the brakes on as soon as I saw it .And I totally disagree at least for me .purples and blues are my fave .But most of those purples totally disinterest me .the blues are the same .the whole palette is a major major letdown

I’m also glad to know that Seahorse is part of the permanent line. I do want to get it, eventually. I wish it wasn’t as blue heavy as it is, and definitely disappointed in those 2 blues being so incredibly similar. That’s a drawback for me. What I mostly appreciate is that none are a black or dark base. That type doesn’t look good on my very fair skin & very, very small hooded eyes.

I did rush to get it but was kindly sent a 20% off code and free shipping from the US and didn't have to pay customs so that was amazing not mad at the swirly shade as it will look great if going neutral, I do wonder what they were thinking about the two blues lack luster on those two could have had another two amazing shades
I have been wanting to try Adept for awhile but never really felt like any of the color stories were right for me. But I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I tend to like more intense multichromes than these but figure it might make a great inner corner palette and I thought the packaging was beautiful.
Thank you for the in depth review and the detailed swatches! I got the palette too, and my favorites are those thick super shifty shadows. For the rest I feel like I need to be in the perfect light conditions to show any type of shift. I somewhat regret getting the palette because of the price and because I love Adept's creamy multichromes a lot more. I hope they bring back that formula, and make a full true multichromes palette with it ❤ crossing fingers 🤞

Great review. I bought the palette and it's waiting for me when I get home from vacation. I can't wait to try it. Hope you do a bunch of looks with it later. I also wonder how these layer on a dark color, I bet they will really pop. Expensive but fun. Thank you for doing such a great job with those swatches. Great work!
I'm so glad they're going to keep it for a minute my birthday is in July and I'm definitely asking for this I don't mind the two colors being so similar cuz those are probably the ones I would wear on a daily basis so probably run through them very quick

it's strange how about 5 of these look super opaque and impactful and the rest just...meh. like the formulation just HIT right with a few of them but then not with the others. wouldn't buy it for that reason, if they sold those five as singles though i might be interested.
They say they are shimmery multi chromes with transparent base. They gave A LOT of information on the site and on insta

So happy this is permanent, I could see getting it at some point but after the Oden's Eye and Scooby Doo this month from Glamlite, I am on a no buy for a bit!
The blue/purple shades remind me of a shade that's in the Nomad Whistler palette.
I am curious if they listen to the feedback and change the one blue shade for a different one... they are really good with listening to their customers

Thank you for this incredibly thorough and lovely video! For me, this is not worth the money. I would never touch that rainbow shade,I would just stare at it untouched lol. And I can’t with a palette that dupes itself, even once. IMO three of the shades in Amunet are sooooo similar and that made me more cautious about the brand. But I love Plain Jane and Heather’s palette and may get Ninhydrin.
The plain Jane remastered was once again a major letdown .I waited forever for it to become available b4 the remastered. Then I got it and can barely use it.Its so dry and it's hot garbage to me compared to sugar drizzle etc..I was wishing for so much more 😢
I always build shadows up on my eyes and have something under them either foundation, concealer or primer so I see nothing wrong with switching them that way.
I understand that, but for me it’s nice to see the shadows just as is 😊 Not saying one is wrong and one is right, just saying it’s how I prefer to do it
@@AmyLovesMakeup I get it. I've seen them both ways. People will get harsh towards people that use a base like it's "cheating" or something silly lol but I don't think anyone just goes straight to skin on their lids with shadows so both types of swatches are helpful.

I can tell you're not a Star Trek Deep Space 9 fan but someone over at Adept must be. 😂 It's pronounced 'gem huh-dar' and ketracel white is the drug they are given to keep them dependent on The Dominion (because they are soldiers who could overthrow their Dominion overlords).
Yeah the name of the pallet pulled me in , going to use an old benefit blush brush to get the whole rainbow on my cheeks
I am just nervous about this pallet now . I got it for 112$ with the 20% off coupon and free shipping, and I used Afterpay .

I didn’t realize they were charging that much!!! Yeah no. There were some shades I thought looked beautiful but most of them seem like they’re lacking or look kind of satiny, definitely not my preference.

And I already bought the palette and quickly resold because I realized it just wasn't for me, since I own dupes for most of the best shades in it... I am really excited for Terra Moons launch today though 😍
Need looks
I have almost all the original Adept palettes when they were made in USA. Now they are made in China different and I can’t justify that price. Seems like a cash grab. I bought Clionadh Sea Treasues palette instead. It’s the only brand for me for this type of shadow
It's not worth it for me. Especially since i live in the EU, so i'll be paying extra for the shipping. A lot of these multichromes/duochromes look like what i have already or shades that i wouldnt particularly fancy on my eyes.

Sadly I am passing reason is to expensive that can't justify the price when pat mcgrath gives discounts and is more lux and cheaper.
