GMC Terrain - ENGINE AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT / REMOVAL (2018 - 2024)

Tutorial video on how to change / remove / replace engine air filter on second generation GMC Terrain SUV ( 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | 2021 | 2022 | 2023 | 2024 | SLE | SLT | DENALI | 1.5L | 2.0L ).
Engine air filter is located under the front hood and it is very easy to replace it. Generally it should be replaced with every oil change.
To access the filter loosen up four phillips screws holding the air box cover. Lift the cover and pull out the old filter. If you have problems removing the cover then disconnect MAF sensor and completely remove the cover by pulling it off the rubber hose. Before installing new filter make sure to clean the inside of the air box.
