Thanks for the videos. How about a stroll along the pinewalk in Puerto Pollenca, and then maybe check out the Bocquer valley walk? We had to cancel our trip to Puerto Pollenca last summer and I am beginning to think our planned visit in June is looking unlikely :-(
@@jonguy8540 we go every year now, used to be Alcudia, but switched bays 4 years ago. Alternate between Galeon and Illa D'or. Missed last year of course, trying for August this year... can't wait and these videos are filling a small hole.
@@ficba We stay in a friend's apartment directly up the road from the Galeon, we love the little restaurant along from there, Siurell. We really enjoy a walk along the pine walk for a drink at the Illa D'or, it must be lovely to stay there, such a great location!
Wow this is a beautiful place to hike my friend..Thank You❤❤❤I've watched your video on Puig de Maria and we went there last week,it's a nice place for some quite time and picnic.🥰🥰🥰
Such a useful video, thanks for sharing 😃 is there much shade on the route? As we’re thinking of doing this in early August ☀️ … does this sound like a terrible idea?! 😊
Thank you! There's shade in the evening as the sun sets over on the west side... there are lots of places you can dive down along that walk to the water's edge too!
I hope you don’t mind me saying I am disappointed - I was hoping you would continue to the hostel and catch the amazing views from the terrace there. The views are amazing there as the sun sets. On a positive note, thanks for posting and nice to see Es Verger restaurant is still there.
I was disappointed too. Not only did the cloud descend on what was earlier a sunny day, but we left the walk a little bit late, and didn't leave enough time to get down before it got dark so didn't make it to the hostel. The cloud meant zero sunset and zero visibility. However this is just a taster! I will go back and do it all a bit differently so I'm not making the same video, but you'll see better views!
Let me know if you'd like me to visit anywhere in particular on the island in the comments below and I'll get there when I can!

@@jonguy8540 I was just saying to my wife - what about PP? you got there before me!
@@ficba our favourite place!

Oh thank you - it's one of my favourite walks!! Next time you visit, hike right from Alaro village.. I may have to make a video about this!
Well done! So much walking! Great to watch from a distance! :)
This winter, we walked from the village too right to the top!! I must do a new video of this area (when it cools down!)
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun I look forward to that. I don't like narrow roads or sheer drops so happy to watch from the safety of my chair. Ha.
Love this hike! Thanks for sharing x
rode up most of the way on a moped with gf on the back, when you realize its a bad idea you're already too far up to turn around haha
That road looked scary, looks like a great walk , Thankyou for the video
Thank you for your comment! It was super scary! There are so many roads here like this! But it's a fab walk!
Super views 🌴
Another gem when this covid is over I am going to have to book more holidays to Mallorca to fit them all in.
You'll need quite a few to see the island! I hope I can give you some inspiration!
Did this hike last Saturday, we started from L’Hermitage Hotel. The views at the summit were amazing. ♥️🇪🇸
Oh wow!!! I'm sure you had better weather!
We hope to meet you on hike one day🥰🥰🥰
Awww, I'm sure our paths will cross!
Really loved it,,
Thanks so much Andrew! You have to get up there soon to make this for your channel!
Thanks,from Göteborg, sweden
Thanks Dennis 🤗
