Effective treatment of cancer and metastases: 3D-navigated thermal ablation

- Reto Bale, an interventional oncologist at Medical University of Innsbruck, has made significant advances in radiofrequency ablation treatment - a standard treatment method used all over the world. The novel technique incorporates 3D navigation technology and an aiming device that Bale originally developed for brain tumor biopsy. The so called „stereotactic radiofrequency ablation (SRFA)“ uses heat to destroy tumors with pinpoint accuracy. The main difference with this technique is that normally only one - and a maximum of three - probes are used, meaning you can only treat tumors measuring up to 3 centimetres. With this method multiple needles can be precisely placed in and around liver tumors. Thereby, even large tumors can be completely covered by overlapping ablation zones including a safety margin. The biggest tumor that was comprehensively treated was 18 centimetres in diameter. Up to now, in total, 900 patients with more than 1900 primary and seconary liver tumors (liver metastases) have already successfully been treated by Bale and his team.

sg herr selner, das hängt von der lokalisation und der größe ab. nach der ablation muss noch genug funktionelles restgewebe übrig sein. man muss sich das im detail anschauen.
wir haben vor ca 2 jahren einen patienten mit 24 lebermetastasen in mehreren sitzungen behandelt. der patient ist jetzt tumorfrei. allerdings waren die meisten sehr klein und der patient hat vor der srfa sehr gut auf die chemotherapie angesprochen.

prof odisio plans to do the first cases at md anderson, houston, us in the next few months (hopefully starting in august 2022).
Will the patients treated with it live long.
the effect can be compared with surgery. you can completely eliminate liver tumors. however you cannot influence if new tumors will develop based on the underlying disease. therefore we have many patients who have to be treated multiple times. this is possible because we the procedure is more parenchyma sparing as compared to surgery.

I just found out I have liver and colon cancer. And this my first and possibly only stop! and told i don't have much time. My fear is not leaving it leaving my Mother and invalid brother to themselves. It dose not paint a pretty picture thinking at a time my mother who needs extra care, with my brother who is some wear in space. I am absolutely intoxicated with this Video. I'm not a Doctor and understand very well. I have seen two other videos One about Tesla and another was a doctor who made his own microscope and was using frequency's to Kill them. Might be like the needles and heat. Had a question do you insulate part of the needle so not to heat up more than you want. I was thinking cryogenics also. I think that's cold anyways Dose anyone know the highs and lows of the normal and cancer cells. Maybe a combination between hot and cold to stop important areas to cool while being heated right next door to the important organs. Please let me know if i can get this procedure.

Well it wasn't my doctor. I said i had a pain in my neck and he said I had torn ligaments, then i said i lost 35 pounds and he said goooood. I ended up with the runs and blood on my stool about 10 month's later. My abdomen on the right side was about 1.5 c warmer than the left side when i went to emerge and they took a cat scan and found the bad news
