I have a theory about Larry’s(fan made) sudden turn to good, was because he originally had been experimented on. Hence, the key in his back. The other three are also test subjects with the same key. The key acts as a control device to “keep them evil” and doing whatever evil “thoughts of their own” popped into their heads. Removing the key reverts them back to their old selves. Larry being the more sensitive and human since he quickly teamed up with the player. That probably explains why Mary called him weak, since she was the more successful test subject. She would continue the experiments with humans while Barry made experiments with robots. There might be a higher up idk, but this might check out. The house in the fan-made game was originally Larry, Mary, and Barry’s home. The purge also must’ve been around when they were either middle aged or much younger. They were taken and experimented on, causing them to be evil and run an organization for the purge. The house was bought and sold for many years until we(the player) see Larry. He specifically attacks our home because he remembers that it was where he originally lived. Which it explains him going around our house while we hide, he’s looking to see how his home is now after being taken from it long ago. Break In 2 also must take after possibly a decade or so with the house now destroyed.
