Because I felt like it, I'm gonna post my version of Listener, or at least my oc that I see in place of Listener lol Oc name: ALAMANZAR [no last name] God of: The Sun and wealth (fame power- sorry the One Piece demons got me) Appearance: ALAMANZAR is a tall humanoid-esc creature made of pure gold with a floating porcelain head with sun-colored eyes, he has 6 ginormous wings that hang on the shoulder plates of his body, he has 3 smaller wings on his head that hide his eyes. Powers: ALAMANZAR has a giant array of abilities canonically, but here are a few I can think of, He can cause solar flares and giant heatwaves with just a flap of his wings, and when anyone makes eye-contact with ALAMANZAR, their brain would immediately begin to warp in on itself due to his eyes being too hard to comprehend. ALAMANZAR can also sort of shape-shift. He can shift his body into an infinitely looping ring with wings on the sides Oh and he glows unnecessarily bright when in any dark place lol
This backstory is honestly one of my favorite things. A god who fights for his people because his people fight for him, and a people who fight for their god because their god fights for them. The idea makes me happy.

Timeo: God of Fear. While the name might not sound benevolent, it is only through him that humans have gotten to where they are. Fear of death keeps people from doing something stupid. Fear of the unknown keeps humans from learning too much. Before all this…Timeo was seen as nothing more than a prankster, who used his powers for cheap scares on the other deities. But now…he is tired. Fear was something that had been in the hearts of humans since this all started. Perhaps one day, fear wouldn’t be needed anymore, and Timeo could fade away. Until that day however…..always be fearful of what goes bump in the night.
Yenasha - Eldritch goddess of pain, suffering, love and affection, but you can also write in Void - goddess of nothingness, that also is me... Do not ask how does that work... Cthulhu is the diety of sleeping well and madness, but is also known as The Great Old One - god of the deep... so for Eldritch beings it works that way... Edit: "you don't wanna get attached..." but I do! I am a goddess of affection!
I have some info for you not to offend you just so you know. Have you know Cthulhu first is not sleeping in ocean but warshipers of him are? Cthulhu and the other "other gods" becose Tolkien say they are "other gods", are in the void and in mitos Yogdotof is I think the most powerfull of them all.
