- How to FIX PlayStation Games LOCKED Glitch PS+ April 2024
PS4 PS5 owners are facing a big headache after the PS+ Premium games where released. Video games that gamers have purchased are locked and or trying to access games from PlayStation Plus are also locked. Hopefully Sony to fix this issue asap and maybe throw in some free stuff for the gamers that experience issues.

Restoring the license does nothing
Same here.. gta5 , horizon zero dawn, watchdogs 2 many more games are locked.. restoring licence doesn't work

Im only locked out of certain ubisoft games included with ps plus extra.. its ridiculous for me to pay money for a game not to work. Also it's ridiculous for company to make customers support so hard to reach 😢
Same here, Watchdogs Legion, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Origins and 3 remastered, Unity, Scott Pilgrim, Immortals Fenix Rising, Monopoly, Trials of Fusion/Rising and more are locked

Nothing works it shows transaction history and the games are purchased, downloaded, and locked. Hold a premium acount that doenst expire untill aprill 2024 * wont renew again* problem was there before upgrading to ps5. Now its worse.
I bought the disc copy of elden ring, but i do not have the disc copy anymore and it now has a lock saying i need to buy elden ring again.
I only noticed this problem today. i was going to download one of my free plus games again, and they're all locked. i hope they unlock them all again

I don’t know. I have a PS subscription and got it through that for “free” and once the new one came out, they locked it, talking pay to get the game.

I purchased the game with the subscription for 1795 when I bought my PlayStation and now it’s not letting me do nothing. I was just literally playing it yesterday and then my subscription ran out. I re-updated my subscription and now I’m locked out tried to unlock it.

I guess this is due to the latest patch, because I noticed also a couple of my plus games was locked...hopefully fixed in the next update.

You can’t play gta 5, if you got it from the ps+ (after the initial ps5 launch), they removed it, and I think they lost the license from the ps+, so you can’t use it like that anymore, you have to Purchase it now.
mine too, and when i looked the game page on the ps store in my phone it said my version was "only playable in PS5" though i had gta 5 from the ps+ extra on my ps4 for 4 months now

This happened to my ps4 last year with 4 games I have on disc, GTA V, Fallout 4, Watchdogs 2 and South Park TFBW, the solution for me was a simple delete and re-install but I haven't bothered with the latter 2 games yet, they are still locked, now I'm experiencing it with this month's (June 2024) free games, they install ok but they're locked and unplayable, sadly a delete and re-install doesn't work for these games.
So, long story short, restart PS5 and modem, if that doesnt work, restore the licences, and if THAT doesnt work, we're supposed to just wait?
Edit: turns out, playstation is just removing those (specifically, the playstation plus games from the subscription) games from the network completely, meaning if you want to keep playing it, you have to buy it.
I feel like a Canadian in ER. Impossible to get to the paid product.
Recently discovered this for just all the far cry games for me restored the licenses all of them came back except for far cry 5

I pay 13 pound a month for me to download a game and then I delete it to make space and then try re-download it for that certain game to be locked? Absolute joke and then for the ps monthly games to be absolutely terrible as well!
