I’m from Brooklyn ny 35 years old been getting chop cheese from the deli after school since a little girl it’s an nyc staple . You can go into any corner store in ny and order a chop cheese from Brooklyn to the Bronx . Not saying we New Yorkers invented it. But it’s for sure one of our corner store favorites for years. It’s new to us but old to us .
